A Cheeky Little Way To Make Money Using Other People’s Content

As I’m reading through my morning collection of articles on a popular website, I am struck by how many of them are basically saying the same thing.

There is a lot of information out there about a lot of topics and as I say, much of it is saying the same thing.

As an example, I have recently read articles by several freelance writers telling me:

  • How to find my first freelance writing client.
  • How to become a five-six figure a year freelance writer.
  • How to make a passive income as a writer.
  • How to write the perfect viral article.
  • How to make X amount per hour as a freelance writer.
  • How to build an audience for your writing.
  • How to write the best headlines.

Each of those freelance writers have written articles covering all or most of those listed above… and they published them for free.

And this had me thinking…

I see a way to make money from this.

Firstly, let me remind you of an important saying:

‘There’s nothing new under the sun.’

This is true, apart from a completely brand new scientific discovery, virtually all you will read online, in books, and in newspapers is the same old same old just dressed in new clothing.

Some might include personal experiences and results, but on the whole, the backbone of those articles is the same.

Recently I told you about the woman who made £139 by spending one hour writing an article which she then sold on a specific website.

That website was called Constant Content and it is a market place where writers upload articles which they wish to sell and where business owners go to buy articles for their websites and newsletters.

All content which is submitted has to be original and free from plagiarism. Basically, you cannot copy word for word someone else’s article and submit it, which is understandable.

But you don’t need to copy other people’s articles word for word. You only need to read a couple and then rewrite them.

This is where I believe that you can make money from this.

Each morning, you read a few articles on specific websites which deal with certain topics and niches, decide which one you want to recreate, maybe read a couple more similar articles, take notes and then start to rewrite it.

To put it bluntly… reading other people’s articles and taking notes is ‘research’.

You don’t need to do a lot of deep research because all of the information is there right in front of you in those articles which people are publishing for free.

Every day, you could quite easily read a few articles, and rewrite those articles and submit them to a website where people can buy them.

Rewriting just one article each week day would give you five ‘sellable’ products a week. That would give you 20 ‘sellable’ products each month.

Even if you made just £10 per article, that is an extra £200 a month from doing nothing more than ‘recycling and repackaging’ other people’s information.

You could write several and sell them as a content bundle.

I would suggest that you choose a topic or niche that you have an interest in or at least understand well and is quite popular, then focus on recreating content on what you read.

There is a saying in writing circles, ‘write to market’ and that means that you write about the things people want to read. In this case, you write what people want to buy.

As long as you are submitting articles which are clear, understandable, not plagiarised and in a niche that people want to buy, then I see no reason as to why you cannot make money this way.

It’s quite a simply process really…

Read > Write > Submit > Sell

It might be better to look at it this way…

Read + Write + Submit = Money

If you think that you are not very good at writing, let me just reassure you with one important fact, writers improve by doing these two things…

  1. Writing regularly
  2. Reading regularly

Writing improves when you spend time doing it. Reading helps you to understand sentence structure and flow.

With this business model, you do both daily.

You cannot but improve doing this.

And the great thing about this business model is that you can get started today.

You can apply for an account on Constant Content and start writing articles ready for when you are approved.

It may take up to five days for your account to be approved, but you can use that time to practice writing, read and research specific niches.

If however you are looking for a really simple way to make money which doesn’t require you to rewrite articles, then the Boss System might be better for you.

There are NO products to create… NOTHING to buy in… NOTHING to sell… NO promoting other people’s products… NO placing adverts on Facebook or other social media sites…or anywhere else.

You simply copy some text from one place, and then paste it in another.
