The Powerful Goal Setting Ritual
How To Really Set Goals And Change Your Life For Good!
becoming wealthy
WARNING! Goal Setting Can Seriously Affect Your Wealth ... In A Good Way!

Goal setting is the one thing which unites all wealthy and successful people.

They all write down and actively focus on their goals.

In 1973 there was a study of Yale University graduates who graduated twenty years earlier which showed that the 3% who had written down clearly defined goals went on to enjoy more wealth and success than the other 97% of students combined.

In a group of 100 people, that would mean that 3 individuals had amassed more wealth and success than 97 other people combined… all thanks to setting goals.

That’s pretty powerful stuff.

Most wealthy and successful people, practice  a daily ritual which makes goal setting work.

It isn’t just a case of writing goals down on a piece of paper and then putting it aside, as that will just result in the goals being forgotten about.

You see, the power of goal setting comes when you actively and consistently focus on them. You keep them in mind daily… and there is a reason for that… it programmes your subconscious mind to take the action required to make the goals come true.

I could say something a little ‘woolly’ like thinking about your goals will ‘attract’ those things through the ether of the Universe… but I won’t. That’s all a load of old bunkum.

Your subconscious is the software that works in the background running the show.

It controls your habits and world views. Those habits and world views (often referred to as a paradigm) manage your actions and behaviours, which in turn get you the results you experience.

To get better results, you need to create new habits and new world views. You need a new paradigm and to do that… you need to re-programme the software which runs you… your subconscious.

Below is a powerful process which helps to programme the subconscious leading to the achievement of goals.

It is a powerful daily ritual which should be treated like an important ceremony.

The following is based on Stuart Goldsmiths method from his book The Midas Method. But it also includes suggestions from other people such as Bob Proctor

The Pre Ritual Process Day 1

1 – Choose a spot in your home where you can do the ritual each day. A place with a comfy chair, free from noise and distraction. A place you cannot be interrupted or overheard. Go to that place with a notepad and pen.

2 – Write out your goals on paper first. This is a rough draft so that you get them right. You can cross out and make corrections until you have the right wording. Wording is powerful so make sure write your goals out in the best way possible – see the next steps for examples of well written goals.

3 – Include one or two open ended personal goals. Example: Each and every day I am growing in confidence  and I am willing and able to tackle anything that comes my way. Write these goals as if they are ‘happening’.

Never set an end date for these kinds of goals as they cannot be define by time. Example: By December 2021 I shall be more confident. Confidence will grow gradually and not just appear by a specific date. Plus how much is ‘more’ and can you ever have too much confidence?

Avoid using negative words and phrases… instead of saying I will not eat sugary foods, or I no longer eat a lot of sweats, instead say I only eat healthy life enhancing foods that are free of sugar.

4 – All goals which are not personal growth must have a defined end period. Example; By December 2021, I shall own a brand new cobalt blue Jaguar F-Pace with all of the extras. These goals must include as much detail as possible and a deadline.

5 – Once you have a good list of goals, get a decent pen and a piece of clean white paper, and transfer those goals onto the new sheet in your best handwriting. Fold the paper carefully and put it somewhere safe for the day.

The Pre Ritual Process Day 2

1 – Open up your list of goals, get a pen and a piece of clean white card – the size of a business card and no bigger than postcard size – choosing only SIX goals from your list, preferably small goals which I will explain why shortly – write them down on that card in your best handwriting.

This is your Goal Card.

The reason you should only do six goals is that it six is easier to remember so you can recite them at any time of the day if you are not carrying your Goal Card with you – I recommend you carry a Goal Card with you at all times. Bob Proctor carries his Goal Card all the time.

You can always make two Goal Cards, one to carry with you in your wallet or phone case, and one to keep safe in your place of ritual.

2 – Take another piece of card and write on it in your best handwriting:

This Is The Place Where I Repeat My Goals.

Repeating My Goals Brings Me Closer To Achieving Them.

This is your Setting The Place card.

  1. Put your Goal Card and your Setting The Place card somewhere safe for the day.

The Daily Ritual.

1 – After rising from your bed, when you catch sight of yourself in the mirror, whether it is in the bathroom or bedroom, greet yourself (out loud if possible) with “Good morning, you’re looking really great today!” Say it even if you do not feel great. Allow yourself to FEEL really good about yourself.

Do this every morning. DO NOT follow it with anything negative.

Do it even if it is an hour or two away from the time of doing your goal reading ritual.

Starting the day with positive programming is important and the ‘good morning’ greeting aides the re-programming of the subconscious which is vital to successful goal achieving.

2 – When it is time,  go to your chosen quite place of ritual, and get comfortable in your chair.

3 – Read out loud your Setting The Place card as you get comfortable.

4 – With your finger draw out the letter G in front of your eyes. Visualise the G appearing in front of you. Imagine that it glows with a fiery orange or gold as it appears under your finger tip.

This is telling the subconscious that you are starting the process of talking directly to it.

5 – Take your Goal Card and read out loud the first goal. Once you have read it, close your eyes and visualise yourself having, being or doing what the goal is.

For example; if your goal reads By December 2021, I shall own a brand new cobalt blue Jaguar F-Pace with all of the extras, imagine yourself sat behind the wheel of the car driving it.

Imagine that you are listening to the radio through its crisp-clear sound system, look at the sophisticated sat-nav (if it has one) built seamlessly into the walnut dashboard (or whatever the dash is made of), feel the comfort of the expensive and well upholstered seat.

See and feel yourself owning the car of your dreams.

Always visualise as if you have achieved or own the thing you want. This is what Walt Disney called Imagineering

When we visualise, the subconscious doesn’t question what it is seeing as it is in image form, but when you read out a goal, never say you have something if you don’t, as that will confuse the subconscious because it will know it is a lie.

Your subconscious is watching and recording 24/7 everything which is going on in your life, so saying that you HAVE £100,000 in the bank, when in reality you are several hundred into the overdraft, the subconscious will know that you are lying to it and will be confused.

Confusion is not a good place to work from or to create change.

6 – Repeat step 5 for all six goals.

7 – When you have read all six goals out loud and visualised living a life with those goals achieved. Back trace the letter G with your finger as if you are ‘erasing’ it. Watch the letter G disappear from view.

This signals to the subconscious that you have finished talking directly to it.

8 – Do steps 1 to 7 again in the evening.

Repetition Is Key

You can either take your Goal Card with you, or create a second one which you carry with you at all times and whenever you get a few minutes, do the ritual again.

Bob Proctor carries a Goal Card with him at all times and reads his several times throughout the day.

Repetition is key here.

Studies show that it takes seven repetitions of a point to begin to influence a voter.

Hence why newspapers which print political inaccuracies over a full year can be incredibly harmful to society.

Imagine how powerful the daily repetition of SIX GOALS are on your subconscious and ultimately, your behaviour over a full year.

Every time you achieve a goal, you carefully draw a line through it using a ruler on your goal sheet. You then create a new Goal Card incorporating a new goal.

Do not wait until all goals have been realised otherwise you could be missing out on months or even years of valuable programming time.

Start with smaller goals – think jobs you have been putting off for months – and let yourself grow with confidence in the system.

Your first Goal Card may have goals like, By the weekend I shall have washed and hoovered the car, or By the end of next week I shall have decorated the back bedroom.

Once these goals get done in the allotted timeframe, your confidence in the power of setting goals will grow. Then you can start to add more of the harder-to-believe-you’ll-achieve goals such as By the end of 2021 I shall have £50,000 cash in my bank from my writing skills… even though you have never written more than a short email since leaving school. Pretty unbelievable right? But still achievable.

Those bigger goals can be achieved… what is important is that you do not concern yourself with how you will achieve them at this time.

Just make sure that the goals is something you really want to achieve and is in line with your soul. If it is something that you want, write it down.

The way will come to because your subconscious will take over and lead you to it.

The saturation of the goal on your subconscious will inform it that it is something that you really want and instructs it to go to work figuring out a way to make it happen and build a new programme of habits which will move you forward to the realisation and achievement of your goals.

If you are struggling to believe that this works… try it, what have you got to lose?

Nothing… but you have a lot to gain… in fact you have a whole new world  of success and wealth to gain.
