Using Radar To Make Money Trading Football Games

If you haven’t seen the film Castles in the Sky starring Eddie Izzard, I recommend you do.

It tells the remarkable story of the rush to invent radar during the days leading up to the Second World War.

After being asked by the Ministry of Defence his opinions on whether a death ray using radio was possible – he determined it wasn’t – Scottish radio physicist Robert Alexander Watson-Watt suggested that radio signals could be used to detect aircraft at long distances.

After making the suggestion Watson-Watt and his assistant Arnold Frederic ‘Skip’ Wilkins were asked by the Ministry of Defence to build a team of scientists and work on developing the system which could help protect Britain from the German Luftwaffe.

Information had reached the Ministry of Defence that Germany was preparing for war and possibly planning an attack on Britain. Intelligence photos showed that Germany was busy building a large fleet of bombers and fast fighter planes.

The German Luftwaffe’s fleet outnumbered the RAF 3 to 1.

Britain was busy building new Spitfires and Hurricanes as fast as it could but due to  the urgency of the situation, they needed something which would give the RAF the upper hand should Germany launch an attack.

Having a huge fleet of planes is meaningless if they are not in the air at the time of enemy attack.

Bombers travelling at 200 miles per hour could quite easily reach airfields without warning, drop their bombs and simply wipe out the RAF squadrons while they were sat waiting for the call.

Britain needed something which could detect the enemy before they reached British shores and give the RAF time to scramble their planes ready to meet the incoming Nazi fleet in the air.

Watson-Watt and his team of scientists worked around the clock to develop the protective ‘castle in the sky’ which became known as Chain Home.

It went into operation in 1938 and was instrumental in winning the war above England.

Before the war as part of his work at the Met Office Watson-Watt had already developed HFDF affectionately known as ‘huff-duff’ to accurately track down thunderstorms using radio signals.

Huff-duff was also used during World War II to track down enemy U-boats. It is believed that a quarter of the attacks on enemy U-boats used the huff-duff system.

Sir Robert Watson-Watt was given a knighthood in 1942 for his work and he was also awarded the US Medal for Merit in 1946 after going over to the US in 1941 to advise them on air defence after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

The technology that Watson-Watt and his team developed paved the way for further advancements like the microwave oven.

Using Signals

Similar to how radar and huff-duff look out for specific signals and listen for the ‘pings’ to tell you that something is there for the taking, automated sports trading bots find football games to trade by looking for ‘signals’.

Automated sports trading bots connect to specific accounts and services and once programmed to do a specific task, they go trawling the global markets to find the right conditions and then place a trade on your behalf.

These trades then make money.

These bots work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and instantly fire trades into the market as per your pre-programmed instructions.

Just imagine whilst you are tucked up in bed, watching television or enjoying a pint in the pub, your bot can be trading for you!

Your bot is programmed with instructions which effectively say ‘Look for this specific set of circumstances. When you find it, place a trade. Now wait for ‘x’ to happen and when it does, take the money and run!’

My good friend Paul Bent makes money each and every month using bots… it’s what he does and it’s what he knows.

He has kindly offered to share with you the system he uses to make £1,500+ each month using bots.

What’s more… he has agreed to offer this system at a heavily discounted price to the one previously advertised.

£136.53 For One Hours Work. Would You Say No?

Reading is an incredibly valuable thing to do.

Depending on what sort of thing you read, reading can open you up to so many money making opportunities and possibilities.

For example, last night I read a short article about a woman named Lori Ballen who made $178.75 in an hour… at time of writing this article that is £136.53 in real money.

Reading that article introduced me to a specific website where writers submit articles which if accepted, are then sold to people who need content for their website or email newsletters.

The website is called Constant Content and they are a marketplace website who take a (rather hefty) 35% cut of the sale price.

Yes, they make a lot of money off each sale, but they have a lot of high paying clients who are looking for quality content which means that a writer can open an account today, and if they pass the application process, they can submit work to be sold.

An approved writer can have content on the website ready to be bought today.

Lori wrote a 2,750 word article and charged ten US cents per word which is roughly seven pence per word.

The article sold for $275 (£210) which after Constant Content took their cut, she was left with $178.75 which is roughly £136 today.

Okay, it’s not good that she lost a large chunk of the money to the website owners, but there are a lot of benefits here:

  1. She made £136 for one hours work.
  2. She didn’t need to do any marketing or networking trying to find clients.
  3. She didn’t need to send hundreds of cold calling emails to companies to find work.
  4. She didn’t need to spend hours showcasing her talents on social media platforms to attract potential clients.
  5. She simply opened up her laptop, wrote an article, uploaded it to Constant Content and got paid when someone bought it.

Constant Content requires that you can write to a certain standard but you certainly don’t need a degree in English.

If writing is something you are good at or think you can be good at, give it a go. You could soon be earning a decent amount of money for your spare time.

You have nothing to lose.

If however you are looking for a way to make money which doesn’t require you to write articles, then The Boss System might be better for you.

There are NO products to create… NOTHING to buy in… NOTHING to sell… NO promoting other people’s products… NO placing adverts on Facebook or other social media sites…or anywhere else.

You simply copy some text from one place, and then paste it in another.

  • How to bank unlimited £20-£750 payments by giving valuable stuff away for free (and have someone else pay for it!)
  • How to make money over and over again from the same thing without doing any extra work.
  • How to attract customers with something free and then have someone else pick up the tab!
  • How your ‘freebie takers’ will be turned into profit makers…while you sleep!
  • How to find the right people to take up your free offer… ones who will ultimately deposit £20-£750 in your bank account.

  • Why you will never need to source, buy or handle a product or deliver a service.
  • How you can double your profits overnight – if you don’t mind doing a bit of extra work.

Are Childhood Experiences Sabotaging Your Chances Of Success?

I caught a few minutes of You Are What You Eat the other day. It is a show which helps people change their eating habits and lose weight.

It’s not the type of show I would normally chose to watch and I probably won’t be rushing to watch it again… at least it is no longer hosted by that pretend doctor who always look poorly, Gillian McKeith.

The idea of being told that you are not likely to live long by a woman who looked like she was going to keel over any second always made me chuckle. The grim reaper looked healthier than Dr (not really a Dr) McKeith.

Anyway, I digress.

The new show is hosted by a respected television presenter Trisha Goddard and has a real fully qualified doctor Dr Amir Khan. Together they help people who have food and lifestyle issues.

On this particular show, a woman named Dawn asked for help with her diet.

She wasn’t overweight or eating a tonne of carb and sugar heavy fatty foods, Dawn was nibbling on pellets throughout the day and needed to relearn how to eat a proper full meal.

Her family were concerned that she was not eating enough of the right foods.

Throughout the day Dawn would nibble on popcorn and chocolate covered rasins… and that was about it.

The reason she doesn’t eat proper food or sit down to enjoy a full meal was very interesting to say the least.

And the reason I am sharing Dawn’s story with you is that I want people to realise that historical events and teachings can be holding you back today.

Things that happened in your childhood, things that you were taught and told many years ago could easily be affecting you today.

Meal Time Trauma

You see, when Dawn was a child, she lived with her mother and father and sister in the country. Her father worked away a lot and her mother was a very ferocious and formidable woman. You’d be right to say that she was a bully and abusive.

Because Dawn’s father spent most of the week away with work, Saturday night was the only time the whole family sat down to eat a meal.

But unfortunately, every week her mother and father began to argue. Dawn’s mother would get very loud, clear the plates away and send the girls to their rooms before they were able to finish eating. They were not allowed to take any food with them.

As Dawn told her story, it sounded like the girls hardly had any access to food. She recalled that her and her sister spent a lot of time outside away from their mother and while they were out, they would constantly graze on berries.

That was their main source of food.

As an adult, Dawn avoided meal times and hardly ate anything other than constantly grazing on small berry like foods.

Dawn had carried that behaviour over into adulthood.

Because meal times as a child were so traumatic and had left a powerful impression on her, her subconscious was driving her to avoid family meals and instead eat her ‘safety’ food alone which were berry sized nibbles.

This is a perfect example of how something which happened in the past, something that is completely no longer relevant today, is holding back a person from enjoying a normal and happy life.

Now this is a severe case, but don’t be fooled into thinking that it cannot or does not happen to you.

Many people are being run by old programming and haven’t realised it. You may be one of them.

That old programming could be holding you back from achieving so much more in life.

The programming could be a simple phrase or saying that a parent said to you over and over again.

‘I Want Never Gets’

I know a person who told me that when he was a child his mother said to him several times ‘I want never gets’, whenever he wanted something.

What is that saying to a young and impressionable mind?

What it’s saying is that you’ll never get what you want… so there’s no point in trying.

Another one of his mother’s favourite sayings was ‘where did I go wrong?’

She would say that when he did something she didn’t like or agree with, not necessarily when he did something bad or wrong.

Whenever he did something which was aligned with him and he was asserting his own uniqueness, if she didn’t like it, she would hit him with the ‘where did I go wrong?’ line quickly followed by ‘do what you want, you always do anyway.’

Those kind of constant messages break spirits and make a decent person feel that they are always doing something wrong and cannot do anything other than upset and displease people.

He said that in his mind, his mother was saying that she had done a bad job of bringing him up as a child and that he was a faulty human.

It took many years before he realised that those were her issues and not his and that he wasn’t actually a bad selfish person doing bad things, he was simply him doing what he wanted to do.

His mother didn’t like him doing what he wanted to do and that lack of control led to her trying to shame him into thinking he was a bad person for hurting his parents.

So not only was he being told that he would never get what he wanted, he was being told that he was a bad selfish person for trying to be who he was… no wonder he spent years not chasing any dreams or ambitions he had.

But here’s the thing… his mother had learned that behaviour from her parents.

She never stopped to question her programming or motives for doing and saying what she did.

What Past Experiences Are Holding You Back?

You may think that your own beliefs and actions are yours, but are they really?

Are you not doing something because of beliefs and ideas which have been programmed into you by others?

Are you too afraid to spend or invest money on something which could change your life for the better because of something you were told over and over again as a child?

Can you not be bothered to try and get something because you’ve been led to believe that you will never get it?

What you do and the way you look at the world is very often not actually of your own personal doing. More often or not, you are working on other people’s beliefs and ideas.

I could talk and write for hours about this topic. Success in life and in making money is amplified by having the right understanding and mindset.

I’m sure you have heard people use the phrases ‘wealth mindset’ or ‘poverty mindset’ or even ‘success mindset’, and as annoying it is to hear them being repeated over and over again… there is a truth there.

Successful and wealthy people do have a different mindset to those who are not successful or wealthy.

But here is the important thing to remember… you don’t have to be born with it. A successful and wealthy mindset can be cultivated.

Old programming and ideas can be overwritten with a new and empowering one.

To become wealthy, you need to think beyond wealth and understand how wealth works and how you work.

Can You Really Make £7,500+ Per Month Sharing Your Thoughts On Medium?

I was recently introduced to a website called Medium.com.

There are people who are making a great deal of money from this one website apparently.

And it is incredibly easy for anyone to get started with because there is…

  • No marketing involved.
  • No website to maintain.
  • No SEO traffic generation to figure out.
  • No running expensive adverts to find clients or customers.
  • No clients or customers to deal with.
  • No products to make – unless you choose to later.
  • Nothing to sell or send out.

This does require you to write short articles but don’t dismiss the idea just yet…

This is relatively easy and this could be a fantastic way for anyone to make money in their spare time.

The website is… how do I describe it?… a giant blog where the content is created by other people… and Medium pays those writers who publish a lot of great content.

Medium is a huge source of information covering almost every topic under the sun.

The website is clean and free from annoying adverts.

The content is easy to read because the website loading speed is not compromised by 3rd party adverts loading and the content is not obscured by pop-up adverts.

Because of this, a lot of people use the website. Roughly 60 million people actively use Medium every month.

It’s so popular even big names like Barack Obama publish to Medium every now and then.

You can use the website for free or you can pay a small monthly or annual fee to get full access.

The monthly fee is only $5 a month which is less than £4 currently. If you pay for the year upfront, you get a discount and pay less than £40.

People who use the free version are limited to what they can read. The majority of the best content is locked behind the pay wall.

Which is understandable when you consider that the writers get paid when people read their content and subscribe via their referral link; they want you to join so that they can earn money.

And earn money they do… quite a lot of it too.

There are people who earn several thousand pounds each month by simply sharing their content on Medium.

Blogging In 2022

Starting your own blog was a big way to make money many years ago – and still can be today – but some people are now saying that the potential to earn money on Medium is that good, that you should forget having your own blog and simply start writing on Medium.

As with all things in life, if you start something and then stop, you will not achieve the results you desire. It’s the same when using Medium.

A simple strategy can have you earning money from Medium, but you need to implement it and stick with it… at least for the short term.

Some content creators now earn money passively from their content when they take time away from Medium.

Make Money Using Medium

To make money publishing content to Medium you need to open up a profile first.

Once you have your profile, you can start adding content to the website.

To make this work you need to write and publish articles – called Stories – to Medium regularly.

Writing one article a day or every other day really isn’t that hard.

An article can take as little as ten minutes to write or maybe an hour depending on how long and detailed it is.

Set yourself a challenge such as write and publish one article a day for 30 days to help you get into the swing of it. Once the 30 days are over, start again or adopt a strategy where you continue to write regularly.

You cannot earn any money until you join the Medium Partner Programme and you cannot join that programme until you have at least 100 followers.

You need to have followers and that is probably the only obstacle of the whole business model… but that is easily over come. It may be a little time consuming in the beginning but don’t let that put you off.

I recently read how one woman amassed 300 followers in a couple of days by spending a few hours each day commenting on and ‘Clapping’ – their term for ‘Liking’ – other people’s content.

She opened up conversations with people.

By doing this she had people going and checking out her profile resulting in them reading a few of her ‘stories’ and then hitting the ‘Follow’ button.

Within a couple of days of starting her campaign of commenting on other people’s content, she had all the followers she needed to join the partner programme.

Publish Fresh Content Regularly

If you write and publish one article each weekday, you will have published 260 articles over a year. That is 260 articles online which people can read… 260 articles which can earn you money.

If an article goes viral and is read by a lot of people, then you will make more money.

Obviously, whether an article goes viral or not is largely down to the nature of the content and how it is received by readers. Good quality content which is actually useful will be received better than something that doesn’t actually say anything.

Headlines are also important. Good headlines draw people in. A good headline – one which ignites excitement and/or curiosity – will help you generate more reads than a boring headline.

Writing and publishing content to Medium is a lot easier than you think.

As long as you do not write about anything that is hateful, disrespectful or downright nasty, Medium allows you to write about virtually anything and everything.

You could simply start writing about your thoughts about the world we live in and use Medium as a thought dump if you so wished.

I recommend that you write your article in MS Word or Google Docs and then simple copy and paste the content over to Medium.

Make any formatting changes that you need, add a picture (Medium connects to Unsplash photo-stock website so choosing a picture is easy), choose the relevant tags and then hit publish.

It really is simple.

A Perfect Simple Second Income System

I think this could be a great side income stream for anyone who either enjoys writing, or who has plenty of time on their hands and isn’t afraid to get stuck in and write one article a day.

Because of the money which writers can earn, some writers sit and churn out several articles a day and keep publishing new content.

For them it is a simple business model.

They write what they want and when they want.

There is no marketing to do, no running of expensive adverts or trying to figure out SEO to get people to your website to see your content or products.

There is no website to maintain or products to create and manage.

With this you simply…

Write and publish… write and publish… write and publish…

And allow Medium to do the rest.

If one article is seen on average by 10 people, then one article is not going to make a lot of money… but if you publish 1,000 articles, now you are being seen thousands of times.

People who read and like one article are more likely to read more by the same person so publishing as many articles as you can on a website like Medium makes sense.

Many writers who publish to Medium also share the same content on other similar websites like Vocal.com – who also pay writers like Medium – to get double exposure.

More exposure means more earnings.

The money doesn’t just come from the reads on Medium itself. Many writers have landed paying clients after publishing their content.

One woman landed a £50,000 writing deal after she published a short 800 word fictional story which a clothes brand wanted to use as part of their marketing campaign.

Sometimes the biggest changes to a person’s life and circumstances come from simply being ‘seen’ and publishing regular content online is a great way to be seen.

5 Ways To Find Freedom As A Paid Writer

How One Man Made £7,000 Using Just Facebook Marketplace

I recently spoke with a close friend about the various ways to make extra money online.

We were discussing simple ways to make money which didn’t require too much work both physically or mentally.

The average person is looking for a way to make ‘extra’ money on top of what they already have coming in. they don’t want to do something which takes up a lot of time or requires a lot of work.

My friend, also called John, told me about a friend of his who made £7,000 buying and selling golf clubs using Facebook Marketplace.

He obviously knew a thing about golf clubs because he would buy them when he saw them listed on Facebook Marketplace, get them home, give them a polish then relist them back on Marketplace for more than what he paid for them.

Basically he was flipping them for a profit.

He was buying them cheap and selling them on for a profit.

He had to do a bit of driving about fetching golf clubs and possibly delivering them but that little side hustle of his made £7,000 over a year.

That’s not bad is it really?

Where most people do nothing once the day job has finished, this chap was flipping golf clubs earning him enough to pay for several decent holidays, or pay a large chunk of his rent or mortgage for the year.

What struck me about this idea is that he focused on just one item.

Golf clubs.

By sticking to one item, it kept things simple for him.

Golf is a popular sport and I guess a lot of people are buying and selling clubs so this guy was able to slip between the two sets of people and make a profit.

You may not find a product where you can focus on one specific item like golf clubs, but you may find items in one specific niche or industry such as power tools, or footwear.

Focusing on just the one or few items in a specific niche or industry means that you can learn more about those products and understand better how much you need to buy for and how much you can ask for when selling them on to other people.

There are people who go to charity shops and buy just shoes and sell them online for a profit.

I’m not going to suggest that you do that because there is a lot of time and effort involved with sourcing items from charity shops, selling them and posting them to people.

Unless you’re looking for expensive fashion brands going cheap, the profit you get back from them will be small.

Golf clubs are often sold by people who want to clear out or swap their old set for a new set and often want them gone so they may be sold off cheap.

I imagine that it is easier to add a nice profit on golf clubs than it is to a pair of cheap shoes.

The main point is that this guy made £7,000 in a year specifically selling one item on a free social media platform.

If he can do it, so can many others, including you…. If you want to that is.

The only problem I see with this method to make money is your present location.

The guy selling golf clubs lived somewhere around Southampton which has a population of over 254,000 and that probably doesn’t include all of the large towns and villages close by.

There were a lot of people with access to Facebook Marketplace to which he could buy from and sell to.

This may not work so well if you live in a quiet village in the middle of nowhere.

The question is… what did he do with his £7,000?

With it being an extra income, I hope he used it as leverage and tried to double it.

Unfortunately, he might be forced to use it on gas and electricity with the way the world is at the moment.

Hopefully not though.

If he can buy more golf clubs with that £7,000 and sell them to make £14,000, that would be great, but he can only buy second hand golf clubs when they come up for sale.

He could always buy more directly from a supplier to sell but the market he is covering is second hand used golf clubs so people may not buy new clubs from a guy who cannot offer next day delivery or a refund guarantee like retailers do unless he offers a ridiculous discount which will eat into any potential profits.

He could use the money to buy direct from a supplier and set up a website to sell the new clubs from, but that is a whole new ball game with a lot of extra work to consider.

Could he buy a few items that are not golf clubs which cost £1,000 each and sell them for £2,000 each?

If he could do that, it would take seven sales to turn £7,000 into £14,000.

Focusing on one item is a great place to start and if there is enough demand and product available you can carry on growing your income.

But if supply and demand is low, then it may be worth looking for other items to sell.

£7,000 extra income flipping used golf clubs on a free social media platform is impressive.

I believe that there are items which you can buy cheaply and flip for a profit using the same platform or utilise several other platforms.

You could buy from Facebook Marketplace and then list them on Gumtree or vice versa… or on both.

When people make some extra money, they automatically use it on ‘life stuff’, which is understandable. A lot of people need extra money and that is why they look for a way to make it.

But if they could just hold back and use the money they make to make more by investing it in other products or projects; that money could soon amplify into a whole lot more.

Starting with just £100, it takes only 14 doublings to make £1.6 million.

Using a plan and the correct approach, anyone can turn £100 into £1.6 million.

The reason a lot of people don’t try to turn £100 into £1.6 million is that they don’t understand that it is possible or how to actually do it.

It is a simple process… but without a plan or the correct guidance, most people don’t know where to start or how to go about it right.

But… as I say, it is doable.

People can take £100 and turn it into £1.6 million.

Obviously, each person’s time frame will be different.

Some people may choose to stop doubling when they hit £500,000.

For others, it may be less. It depends on what people are happy with.

What results you achieve will be down to your efforts, choices and circumstance… but the plan is still the same and workable for everyone.

Start with £100 and keep doubling it until you hit £1.6 million… or whatever figure you are happy with.

We know it works because several people have done it including our good friend Barry Tyler.

If you would like to know what Barry did to double his way to over a million, he will show you here:

Double Your Way To A Million

John Harrison

  1. Barry gives you both the PLAN and the GUIDANCE that you need to double your way from £100 to £1.6 million.

Double Your Way To A Million

Make Money Selling Pointless Products

There are millions of pointless products available to buy. And they really are pointless.

Fun? Yes.

Useful? No

A prime example of a pointless product is hats for dogs.

In fact there is a whole range of clothing for cats and dogs which are at best… completely pointless.

The other day I saw someone on Instagram share a picture of ‘leggings’ they had bought for their Dachshund.

Someone somewhere had made four little cloth tubes the size of a thumb, attached them to a piece of card with a bit of wording and graphics and then sold them to people who for some strange reason, wants to put them on their dog.

There are a few items I get.

Dogs need walking and sometimes the weather or terrain is terrible and so a rain mac to stop them getting too wet or boots to protect their feet I can accept to some degree.

But dogs do not need ‘Peaky Blinders’ style hats or waist coats. Nor do they need superhero costumes or slippers.

Yet people buy those kinds of products regularly.

I remember watching a show about people being rushed to hospital. One of the women who had been taken to A&E was suffering from a sever swelling to the side of her face.

The reason her face was swelling was from an allergic reaction to a toxin which was under her cats claws. Her cat, who was not aggressive in nature and had never lashed out to her before, had scratched her hard across her face because it didn’t want to be put in a jumper.

This woman had bought a woolly jumper for her cat and tried to put her cat into it.

The cat was having none of it and lashed out at her resulting in the allergic reaction and the woman being rushed to hospital.

I remember thinking, ‘what did you expect was going to happen?’

There are literally thousands upon thousands of pet owners who will buy these fun and pointless products.

There is a lot of money to be made in pointless items.

Who remembers the Pet Rock from 1975?

A stone was placed into a custom carboard box which had air holes and straw and sold as a ‘live pet’. … I kid you not.

They sold over a million at $4 each making Gary Dahl, an advertising executive from California, a millionaire.

It’s a bit of fun… but completely useless.

A simple idea can make a lot of money.

Even ideas which really shouldn’t work can make a lot of money.

If you came to me and said that you wanted to sell a rock in a box and pretend that it was a live pet, I would think you were off your medication… yet millions of people bought it.

If you told me you wanted to make and sell leggings for Dachshunds, the dog with the shortest legs on the planet, I might have said that you were wasting your time… but people do buy them.

One of my favour pointless products is the plots of land on the Moon.

That’s right, some people are actually selling – non legally binding – plots of land on the Moon.

Depending on who you buy from, a lunar acre can cost between £15.99 and £88.90. One website offers deals, if you buy 3 acres it will cost you £80 per acre and 5 acres will cost you £75.56 per acre.

Sounds like a real bargain!

If there’s anything I want more than one useless acre of land on the moon which I cannot visit or do anything with… is to have several acres.

Utterly utterly pointless… but people spend money on these kinds of products.

Why?

For fun… and for gifts.

People love to buy friends and family fun gifts. I can’t imagine that I would buy anyone an acre of moon land for fun but that’s just me. I’m not weird.

The question is… is there something pointless that you can make and sell which could be your big money spinner?

You just might be surprised at what people will buy.

If creating and selling products of your own isn’t for you, maybe you should take a look at what Gary McCall does to make between £1,500 and £2,200 per month.

Gary has become the go-to expert in a relatively unknown yet incredibly simple method to make money where he simply copies text from one place and pastes it in another.

It’s a simple process anyone can do.

There’s NO product to create… NOTHING to buy in… NOTHING to sell… NO promoting other people’s products… NO placing adverts on Facebook or other social media sites…or anywhere else!

There’s NO betting, gambling or financial trading involved either. In fact, it’s totally risk free… You won’t risk or spend any money by giving it a try.

People Are Like Holes In Boats… And We Are SINKING!

I don’t know when you will read this article but as I write it, the UK, or more specifically England, has been enjoying life without the Covid restrictions.

The last few come to an end this week I believe.

Masks are no longer compulsory anywhere and the rule to self-isolate when positive has also been removed… but you are advised to though.

There is no legal requirement to stay at home or wear a mask now.

I am not going to wade into the debate about mask wearing other than to say this…

People have stopped wearing masks…

And we are now seeing the worst infection rates since the start of the pandemic. Worse than we did during the two years of restrictions.

UK Covid Infection Rates

More and more people are being admitted to hospital and those hospitals are struggling with the influx of ill people and the lack of staff with many off with Covid themselves.

Many schools are closing classes and whole years because too many staff and children are off poorly with Covid.

More importantly, too many people are still dying from this virus… 998 people have died so far this week.

In 2021, a total of 176 people died globally in plane crashes.

A total of 580 people here in the UK died in 2021 in road traffic accidents…

Yet as a society we seem to be happy to do nothing and allow nearly a thousand people a week to die from Covid like it is nothing.

It seems like everyone is catching it since restrictions were removed.

And yet I still seeing people on social media saying ‘masks don’t work’.

Japanese mask wearers

It’s funny that a nation like Japan which has a very strong sense of honour and community where they ‘think of others first’ and wear masks regularly to stop the spread of flues and colds has only had a grand total of 27,841 Covid related deaths.

While here in the UK…

UK anti-mask protesters

Where we have a society which is very much ‘me… me… me’, where a lot of people refuse to listen to experts and are very anti-establishment (which is not always a bad thing), who believe that Covid is a hoax – they call it the ‘scamdemic’ – or some kind of mass control by the elites (whoever they really are?)… we have…

165,000 Covid related deaths.

Let’s not forget… Japan has 58.88 million more people than the UK. That’s not far off from being twice the UK population which currently stands at 67.22 million.

Yes, Japan may be a big country, but a huge portion of the population live in their large cities and towns.

Tokyo has 5 million more people living in it than London. That’s like having nine Manchesters tagged onto London.

A lot of the people here in the UK believe that masks don’t work and so they didn’t wear them.

Unlike the Japanese – and many other countries – a lot of people here chose to not listen to the scientists and experts.

Instead of listening to those who spend years studying all forms of biologies and physics, they chose to listen to Liam the unemployed weed smoker who hangs around the shops all week who hasn’t realised he is suffering from cannabis psychosis after too many years of daily consumption of the green stuff.

As I say, I am not getting involved in the debate; there are a lot of variables to factor in which most anti-maskers haven’t even taken into any form of consideration.

I’m under no illusion that masks are perfect or 100% safe, but hospital staff have been using them for years and there’s more than enough evidence to show that they help… a lot.

If you are one of those who struggle with that idea then stop and think about the UK Japan comparison.

If that doesn’t convince you to listen to experts… try this…

Anti-Masker: Masks don’t work.

Expert: You sure about that?

Anti-Masker: Yes, if they did, Covid wouldn’t have spread like it has.

Expert: Did you wear a mask?

Anti-Masker: No I didn’t, because they don’t work innit.

Expert: Did your friends and close family wear masks?

Anti-Masker: No, they think the same as me, they aren’t sheeple innit. And those who did, I soon educated them (giggles from a strong sense of (misplaced) self-assurance).

Expert: Would you say then that 15 or 20 percent of the UK population didn’t wear masks?

Anti-Masker: Absolutely, we are not falling for that scamdemic and being forced to fear a virus which is no worse than the flue.

Expert: If a boat hull has one hundred holes, will it sink if you put it to sail?

Anti-Masker: What? Why are you asking me that?

Expert: Would it sink?

Anti-Masker: Of course it would (sniggers with a superiority suggesting it was a stupid question).

Expert: What if you repaired all of those holes, would the boat sink?

Anti-Masker: No of course not. Stupid question innit, you’re weird man!

Expert: What if you repaired 85 percent of those holes, would the boat sink?

Anti-Masker: Yes, of course it would, it’ll be slower but it will still sink.

Expert: Why is that?

Anti-Masker: Why do you think? You have left holes which will allow the water to come in and spread.

Expert: So what you are saying is that if 15 to 20 percent of holes are not filled, the work being done by the other 80 to 85 percent of the repaired holes to keep the water out is not enough to prevent the boat sinking.

Anti-Masker: Er…. Yeah. Dumbass!

Expert: So filling holes don’t work then?

Anti-Masker: Yeah… they do… but… er….not if there are multiple holes and only one or two are filled in isolation.

Expert: So for total success, to prevent the boat sinking, you need 100 percent of holes filled yes?

Anti-Masker: Yes of course, innit (sucks his teeth in a gangster style saying ‘finally, you understand!’).

Expert: I see… so what were you saying about masks not working to completely stop the spread of an airborne virus when you were one of the 15-20 percent who didn’t wear them?

Anti-Masker: F*** OFF!

That conversation didn’t happen, but if it did, that is how I imagined it would have gone.

The worst thing is that you just know that some people won’t change their opinion even after being shown irrefutable facts.

And that is very often why people fail.

As individuals or as a collective such as society, failure comes from not doing what is right but instead allowing ourselves to stay lost in our own opinion which is often based on other people’s dubious opinions and, as Trump liked to call them, alt-facts.

There is no such thing as alt-facts.

An opinion can only be about something which is personal and subjective such as music.

Two people can have different opinions about which is the best style of music and both will be right and wrong at the same time.

Music is subjective and so there is no right or wrong answer, it is just that you either like something or you don’t. It is a personal preference.

No one is right or wrong.

However, when it comes to debating whether a specific single was at number one for 16 weeks or not, a fact cannot be opposed.

Two people can argue over how long Bryan Adam’s was at number one with “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You” in 1993, the one who says it was number one for 16 weeks is right and cannot be anything other than right.

The person who says it was at number one for 14 weeks is wrong. His belief or opinion about that is invalid. It isn’t an opinion, it is just wrong.

If you want to believe something is so, then so be it. But understand that that is not an opinion. It is wrong. No opinion or belief can oppose a fact. It’s just plain wrong.

Does Skegness beach have sand and water?

Yes it does.

It doesn’t matter whether you think it has candyfloss clouds and lemonade, it has sand and water.

The hardest part of life is to work out what is fact and what is not, what is right and what is wrong and what is good and what is bad.

When it comes to making money whether that is from home as an individual working on a side project or building a real world business with staff, if you do not do what is right and what has been proven to work, you will fail.

If you ignore the facts and simply do what you want to do, or do what you believe will work despite it being proven wrong, you will fail.

Listening to experts is a must.

I know that is hard because historically some experts have lied and manipulated their research to fit a specific idea for money or ego.

Experts are human too and occasionally, you do get a bad one.

But when it comes to making money or business, if someone who has been successful tells you to do something ‘this way’ because that is what he did, you need to listen.

I’d like to introduce you to Gary McCall.

Gary has become the go-to expert in a relatively unknown yet incredibly simple method to make money.

Why Your Past – No Matter How Bad – Won’t Hold You Back!

I recently shared with you the story of Italian born celebrity chef Gino D’ Acampo who had spent time in prison for his part of a burglary of popular 80s singer Paul Young’s home.

Gino’s spell inside hasn’t stopped him from being successful.

Very often the ‘turning my life around’ story is very attractive and inspiring to many and can help catapult a person to success.

Today, I want to share two other stories with you which showcase how a dubious and dodgy past has not harmed or hindered the future careers of those involved.

In fact, without these dubious and dodgy moments, they may not have become what they are today.

Both Take That and Boyzone are well respected pop bands who have sold millions of singles and albums around the world.

In the 1990s and 2000s, both bands were adored by teenage girls who would blush and swoon any time their names were mentioned.

As far as bands go, these guys were huge.

They toured the world and have performed in some of the biggest stadiums singing in front of sell-out crowds of tens of thousands of screaming fans.

Today they are now sharp suit wearing middle aged men adored by many middle aged ladies (and men) who have remained fans since they were young teenage heartthrobs.

It is safe to say that they have had incredibly successful careers.

What is more impressive is that they were manufactured bands.

Neither band were a group of friends who had decided to create a band, they were put together by record labels who were looking to make the next ‘big thing’ in pop music.

Very few of them could actually sing. A couple of Take That were picked based on their looks and that they could dance, they couldn’t actually sing.

The first time Boyzone were seen on television was when they appeared briefly on a popular Irish talk show The Late Show in 1993 hosted by Gay Byrne dancing badly to a song which wasn’t theirs.

You have to see the clip, it is hilariously bad. You can see the other guests and the audience laughing at them.

So bad that one person on YouTube said “I saw this at the time and genuinely thought it was supposed to be a comedy piss take of Take That”.

You can see the clip for yourself here:

They were touted as the next big boy band before embarrassingly wriggling and jiving badly to Light My Fire by Club House.

The line up which appeared on the show included one guy who never made it into the later successful version of the band.

Watching that clip, you cannot help but think that they should never have become successful.

But they did.

It was embarrassingly bad and I’m surprised the lads didn’t quit from embarrassment and shame… but believe it or not, it was part of manager Louis Walsh’s master plan.

Louis was pre-warming up the teenage girls of Ireland.

He was building a buzz and a tribe of teenagers who wanted to see and know more about this gang of hunky young men.

He was building interest before there was a finished product to offer.

Take That had a similar start.

The band members attended auditions after answered adverts looking for young men to create a new boy band.

Take That, one of the biggest bands ever to be loved and adored by women worldwide only happened thanks to their early days of wearing shocking tight lycra shorts and performing in gay night clubs.

Their manager understood the power of the gay scene.

When they adopt a band or singer, they spend money. The pink pound, as it has been called, can propel people into the limelight.

The video to Take That’s first UK single, a ‘hi-energy’ song called Do What You Like, was very homoerotic and clearly targeted the gay market.

You can watch the video for yourself here:

It included plenty of naked chests, leather jackets, tight lycra shorts and silver chains.

The music style known as hi-energy was popular in gay clubs up and down the UK in the 1990s.

This song and video was clearly aimed at the gay club scene as a way to establish a good sized fan base which would help Take That remain in the limelight.

New bands can disappear as fast as they come. Record companies will drop bands at the drop of a hat if there is very little interest in them.

By appealing to the gay scene, it helped Take That establish a fan base and to cement their future.

The Take That in that video is a lot different to the Take That most people remember.

Boyzone’s first television appearance had a similar vibe to Take That’s video, they were dancing to a hi-energy club tune while flashing naked chests which appealed to the young ladies and possibly the gay scene of Ireland.

Those early days for both bands look embarrassingly bad and incredibly tacky, yet despite that, they became huge global successes.

Those early days didn’t harm or hinder their careers, they helped them.

Even if they weren’t calculated stunts designed to build loyal fans as soon as they could, they wouldn’t have harmed their futures because they remain in the past.

They become something to build on and improve on.

What does kill a person’s future prospects of success is the one thing I hinted at earlier… becoming embarrassed about your past, hanging your head in shame and quitting.

And that is the one thing the lads in Boyzone and Take That did not do…

They did not allow embarrassment to stop them moving forward, they did not hang their heads in shame of their dubious and dodgy starts and they did not quit … which is the real lesson here.

Whatever has happened in your past, no matter how bad it was, do not quit… because if you do, you will never taste success.

Kind Regards

John Harrison

Two Ways To Make Money Starting Today Requiring Little To No Skills

I want to follow on from the previous article where I shared with you the advice from an Instagram ‘influencer’ who suggested that you sell items on eBay to make some extra money to cover the increasing monthly bills.

He suggested that you got into a routine of adding two items to eBay each day and aiming to make £3 profit on each item.

At the end of a 30 day period you would have earned £180 which would be incredibly useful to most people, especially with these sky rocketing living costs.

Now I am not personally suggesting that you list two items on eBay each day for just £6 profit, if you want to… or have no other option then yes, give it a go, but there are a lot of other ways to earn extra money to help cover any increasing living costs.

Many of which require less work than selling on eBay… and they don’t necessarily require specific skills or knowledge.

Here are a two more incredibly simple ways to make money which you can start today which require little to no skills.

Writing

A simple and easy way to make money is to write articles for people via market places such as Fiverr or Upwork.

Writing a 300-500 word article requires very little work other than the writing itself and then sending the finished work to the client… and you do not need to have any specific writing skills or qualifications either to become a well paid content writer.

You could have one 300-500 word article written in the same time it takes to list one product on eBay and there is no product to package or take to the post office.

You could write two articles through Fiverr, earn £8+ (minimum price is £5, Fiverr takes £1 and you get £4) without any of the other work which comes with selling on eBay.

If you are half decent at writing you could charge more per article. Just this morning I read about a woman who made £5,904 at time of writing in her first month as a freelance writer.

I can tell you now that she wasn’t making just £4 per article.

She would have needed to have written an astronomical 1,476 articles in that month if she was only earning £4 per article!

There is no way that she could have done that because she was doing her freelance work in her spare time. She was working as a freelance writer around her full time job.

She would have been making several hundred pounds per piece of written content.

She is a professional writer and found a few great clients who wanted full content packages. From what I can see, she found her clients by starting on Fiverr.

With over 1.93 billion websites online, there are literally millions of websites needing new articles so there are more than enough writing opportunities out there to make some extra money.

You may not make several hundred pounds per article…yet, but you could make several hundred pounds writing a handful. That’ll be a lot better than faffing around selling cheap products on eBay.

Having a writing routine, and developing a writing habit and a system will help you to maximise profits and lessen the effort you put in.

Websites

Another way to make money which doesn’t take a lot of hard work is building websites which you sell on for a profit.

I recently came across a guy who was building ten websites a month and then selling them for £200 apiece.

Those websites took around an hour to build as he was using the WordPress system which is an incredibly simple way of building websites.

He would add a few pieces of content to them and then list them on a website dedicated to buying and selling websites. It’s all relatively easy really.

Andi our techy guy compares it to when he previously worked in the building trade, building a website is far easier than building a house and doing jobs like fitting doors, windows, skirting boards etc.

There’s no heavy lifting, no struggling in tight spaces, no expensive tools to buy and lock away from thieves and no splinters or injuries.

Occasionally Andi may experience a little frustration when there is a technical issue, but other than that, building a basic website is a doddle once you know how.

Is that something you should consider?

Life might be getting harder here in the UK, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t ways to make the money you need.

There are many ways to make extra money which do not require a lot of hard physical work or you to spend a lot of time working.

Also, in case you were wondering, a lot of the clients and customers are from other parts of the world where they are not struggling the same as we are here so there is no shortage of people to work for or sell to.

If you would like to know more about building websites as well as learning how to write reports and articles go check out The 30 Day To £30K Challenge. In that one product you will learn both.

Andi shows you how to build a basic WordPress website which can be sold if you so wish, and you will also learn how to write reports, articles and simple sales letters giving you the skills to create products which you can sell for yourself from your very own fully automated passive income system or you can work for other people for money.

Struggling With The Increasing Cost Of Living? You Need To…

I’m sure that you have noticed that there is a bit of a crisis happening here in the UK currently with fuel and energy costs soaring to the point that a lot of people are going to struggle hard.

It’s made worse by a government who appear to only want to help themselves more than the hard working people of Britain.

I have seen a few people hit social media declaring that their energy costs have gone up so much that they simply cannot afford to live.

There have been some people saying that it has become that bad they have been forced to decide between eating or putting the heating on.

© 2022 Vuk Valcic / SOPA Images/Sipa via AP Images

They say that they can’t afford to do both.

I sympathise with those people.

Life can be hard and it is no fun when you are forced to make decisions each day in your personal life because of the decisions other people have made elsewhere.

Increasing energy costs are acceptable when it’s because you have cranked the heating up full and turned your home into a sauna because you wanted to and you knew that you could afford it.

But it’s not okay when the increase cost is completely out of your control.

A few pounds a month increase is one thing… but bills have doubled for many here in the UK.

How does the average person deal with that?

Not long after seeing people sharing their worries and concerns about how they are going to struggle because of the increased cost of living, I saw one guy on Instagram giving tips on how to manage the rising costs…

One of the things he said was that people should stop saying that they ‘cannot afford it’ and instead ask themselves ‘how can I afford it?’

That’s very easy to say… however, it’s good advice.

You can’t change what you can’t change, but you can change what you can change.

You may not be able to control the increasing living costs, but you do control how much money you make each month.

This guy also went on to say that if you were to list two items each day on eBay and make just £3 profit on each item, you would have around £180 extra each month… he was working on a 30 day month.

That £180 extra each month over a year is £2,160. That’s got to help a lot.

£3 is not a lot of money and so it shouldn’t be hard to make an extra £3 profit per item.

Everyone should be able to make £6 a day.

However… there can be quite a lot of work involved with selling items on eBay.

Scroll down to carry on reading…

It is better if you can source and sell items which give you a higher amount of profit meaning that you need to sell less and do less work.

If you were able to sell an item and earn £6 profit, you have 50% less work to do than if you made just £3 per item.

Unless you decide to sell multiple numbers of the same product you will need to photograph and list each item.

Every item you sell will need to be packaged and taken to a post office to be sent.

Ideally if you want to sell on eBay I say find something which gives you the most profit for the least amount of work.

This is vitally important if you are going to do this in your spare time to help raise some much need money to help pay increasing living costs.

The last thing you need is to swamp whatever little time you do have spare with hours of work selling cheap items on eBay.

The guy giving this advice was right when he said that people need to focus on creating…

Routines, Habits and Systems

To be successful you need to develop a routine of adding two items to eBay each day. This routine, develops into a habit.

A system is something which makes everything a lot easier and quicker saving you a lot of time and effort.

So for example, having a template which you use for your listings and a corner set aside where you take the same four photos of each product would help you to get your listings online faster.

This is about working smarter and more efficient and that includes finding the right product to sell which will give you higher profits and requires less work.

Would you rather carry several large heavy parcels to the post office which gives you a combined profit of £50 or would you rather post a couple of light envelopes which give you a combined profit of several hundred pounds or more?

If you chose the latter, then maybe you should consider copying Martin Fanshaw.

Martin regularly makes profits of thousands of pounds by simply buying an item from one person then selling it to another person for a much higher price than the one he paid.

He doesn’t simply buy an item and then wait for a customer to come along; it’s not your usual business model. He only buys an item when he knows he has someone to sell it too.

Martin sits nicely between two people and creams off a large profit for simply organising the transfer of an item from one to the other.

All the items he transfers are easy to handle and can be popped into an envelope or a jiffy bag. No big or bulky items here to post.

There is very little heavy or physical work to do and yet it can generate huge profits.

Martin once turned a £30,000 profit in just two days… by simply selling items to people who desperately wanted to own them.

If you would like to learn how Martin sources the product he sells to the people who are desperate to own them for a nice large profit, click the link below:

PS… Once you know what to sell and where to buy them, you could sell them on sites like eBay if you wish but you won’t need to focus on making small £3 profits as suggested by the guy on Instagram.

One item alone could potentially make you £180 profit.
