How To Make £2,280 In One Weekend

In previous articles I’ve mentioned a website that shares information regarding holidaying and visiting Portugal.

I’ve noticed lately that they have begun publishing a series of eBooks and digital guides.

I have it on good authority that over the weekend of them first publishing these guides, they sold around 285 copies.

Once they had the guides up online in their shop, an email was sent to their email list (I don’t know how many people they have on their email list) promoting those new guides.

At around £8 per guide, selling 285 copies means that they made roughly £2,280 over that one weekend.

With the guides being digital downloads there shouldn’t be any other costs other than hosting.

There may be some costs associated to having the shop added to the website if they didn’t do it themselves.

Also there was a certain amount of work involved creating the guides.

They may have been written from scratch, or they could have been created by adding a series of pre-written articles together then editing them into one guide.

It wasn’t simply a case of just sending out an email and making £2,280 in sales… however, it could have been if the products promoted were affiliate products.

At the time the email was sent it was a simple case of writing and sending an email because everything was ready online… and now that email can be sent again many times over.

The point I want to really make is that they sent an email out to the people on their list and made 285 sales earning them somewhere around £2,280.

That’s not too bad, is it?

Those eBooks and guides can be bought at anytime by people visiting the website. There could be hundreds… possibly thousands… more sales over the coming years making them a lot more money.

It’s not hard to do really.

There are far harder ways to make £2,280… and most of them will take longer than it takes to create and publish a digital product, and write and send an email.

The profit margins for those sales can be huge.

It’s been reported that for physical retail items, the average profit margins are between 0.5% and 3.5%.

If it costs a £1 to make and deliver an eBook that you sell for £8, you are making a whopping 700% profit!

Now imagine how much you are making when you are selling a product at £29 or more.

I know that it’s possible for anyone to create a digital product, upload it to a website, add a simple ‘Buy Now’ button, and start promoting it online for free. I’ve seen it being done time and time again.

The actual cost to selling eBooks can be incredibly low when you do a lot of the ‘easy’ work yourself.

The thing about eBooks and digital products is that they can be bought at any time of the day and night giving you a passive income.

You can easily create and publish your own digital product within 30 days and have a passive income asset online for many years.

There is no limit to how many digital products you can publish.

Sometimes you only need to publish one to make a decent amount of money.

Success Is Amplified By This One Personality Trait

Following on from the previous article Is Success Dependant On This One Personality Trait?

I want to share with you another success trait successful people share.

People who do have an abundance of this personality trait have people and opportunities gravitate to them all of the time.

Again, this can also be learned of faked.

It’s something I have known for many years but not really thought about it until a few weeks ago while watching a few videos on Instagram.

Two different Instagram accounts do the same thing, which is share content of them helping and rescuing street dogs.

One is in Thailand; the other is in Sri Lanka.

Both accounts share regular videos and stories on Instagram and other social media platforms.

What they do is basically identical.

Apart from…

One has a very enthusiastic Irishman, Niall Harbison (@niall.harbison), talking to the dogs as he goes around feeding, walking, and caring for the street dogs in his area.

The other account does pretty much a similar thing apart from they don’t have an enthusiastic tone. Their videos tend to have a lot of sombre music and captions instead of someone talking.

When someone does talk, it is usually serious and monotone. Maybe they use an AI generated voiceover whenever they need a voice.

Niall Harbison is winning hands down on social media, and that is all down to his enthusiasm and passion for what he does.

He really enjoys what he does, and it shows.

scroll down to carry on reading…

When he films himself feeding the dogs, all of the attention is on the dogs but you can clearly hear Niall talking with passion and enthusiasm as he calls them by their nicknames and gives them plenty of fuss.

He has a giggle and a cheeriness that screams happy little leprechaun – seriously, no offence intended to anyone who is Irish, go and have a listen for yourself. It is simply joyous!

He has 754,000 followers on Instagram alone. Many of them tune in daily to see his morning food rounds and to see how the dogs are doing. Even celebrities tune in to watch Niall.

The singer, Liam Gallagher, adopted a dog from Niall recently and did a video for Niall to share to his account.

Niall has also recently released a book resulting in him doing a quick book tour of the UK, Ireland and USA.

The book tour was something he did to raise awareness and donations for the dogs because as an introvert and recovering addict who suffers from bouts of depression, he would rather stay away from public appearances.

His purpose and passion is for his dogs and it shows in his videos.

It’s not just the good work that he and his team do that has won him so many fans, numerous people around the world do what he does; it’s his enthusiasm, passion and upbeat talking that has attracted such a large following.

That large following has meant that his rescue shelter in Thailand is receiving plenty of donations and book sales.

Enthusiasm and passion is heard in the voice and seen in the actions of those who are in front of the camera or recording a podcast.

Spend some time watching different videos and listening to podcasts and listen to how different some people sound. You will find yourself being drawn to those who speak with enthusiasm and passion.

Their upbeat manner will help grow their following to the point that they can virtually click their fingers and money will come in.

Enthusiasm is another success trait that simply opens doors without the person even having to try.

Enthusiasm is attractive, it pulls people in.

It’s also something that can be faked.

The best method to fake enthusiasm is to watch videos and listen to podcasts of the enthusiastic and passionate people you like, and mimic them.

Con artists and actors do it well.

They simply play the part of a happy and enthusiastic person.

They speak in the way a happy and enthusiastic person speaks.

They move in the way a happy and enthusiastic person moves.

The smile and laugh in the way a happy and enthusiastic person smiles and laughs.

You don’t have to feel particularly happy and enthusiastic about something to act it… but this is where the magic happens, when you pretend to be enthusiastic not only do people become enthusiastic about you, you become more enthusiastic too.

Have you ever pretended to laugh when you are not in a laughing mood?

When a person purposely does a false laugh or a silly laugh for a minute or two, they usually end up laughing for real. It’s a great way to make yourself feel happier if you are feeling low.

Pretending to be enthusiastic helps you to actually become enthusiastic, which really helps to attract followers and customers when you are doing videos, interviews, live broadcasts, or podcasts.

Naturally enthusiastic people find themselves being offered opportunities for no apparent reason, but the truth is, their enthusiasm and passion is the reason that opportunities present themselves.

Kind Regards

John Harrison

Is Success Dependant On This One Personality Trait?

Successful people generally have specific personality traits.

At first read, that looks like I’m saying that successful people are born which also means that they, and only they, can be successful.

Well, that is not quite correct.

It is partially true that some successful people are born with these ‘success traits’, but these traits can be learned by anyone… and they can also be faked.

I got thinking about this the other day when overhearing a conversation (yes, I’ve been at it again) between a young woman and her mother.

The young woman was telling her mother how she wanted to go out for a coffee on her own and wanted to take her dog too.

She wanted to make it part of her dog walk for that day and instead of grabbing a take-away coffee and sitting on a park bench in the cold, she wanted to go in-store and sit down in a comfortable chair to enjoy it.

There are a couple of places that allow customers to take their dogs in with them as long as they are controlled. She could have taken herself and her dog to one of them, but she didn’t… because she felt ‘silly’ going in on her own.

She then began to tell her mother how she didn’t want anyone she knew seeing her.

She didn’t want to have to strike up conversation with people and didn’t want people ‘judging’ her for taking her dog into a coffee shop… a dog-friendly coffee shop I may add!

As I am sure you can imagine, she didn’t go into the coffee shop with her pet pooch and still ‘wants’ to enjoy that experience.

I don’t know much about this woman other than she is too afraid to take her dog into a dog-friendly coffee shop to enjoy a coffee, but I can imagine that this is a behaviour that is played out in other areas of her life.

She was afraid that she would be judged and that she would feel silly.

This is not the behaviour of someone who I expect will be successful in life.

Again, I don’t know her, and the definition of success is different from person to person, plus some people excel in one area of life and can be terrible in another so she may be super confident in other areas of her life… but allowing fear and anxiety to stop you doing something you want to do, does not lead to success.

This woman allowed her thoughts and fears of what ‘other people’ would think and do to stop her doing something she clearly wanted to enjoy.

Successful people don’t care what other people think.

scroll down to carry on reading…

FREE Blueprint & Video Tutorial - Request Your Instant Online Access Now!

They most certainly don’t allow other people’s thoughts and opinions to stop them doing what they want to do.

They have a strong ‘couldn’t care less’ attitude when it comes to other people.

That’s not to say that they are not nice people and don’t care about others, they simply don’t care what other people think about them or what they do, especially not strangers.

Allowing yourself to be prevented from doing what you want to do by the ‘possible’ negative thoughts and opinions from other people, is simply madness.

This is what people call ‘projection’.

Fearing that other people may think a certain way about you when you have no idea what those people will actually think, is nothing more than projecting your fears onto the behaviour of others.

Firstly, most people don’t care what other people do unless it interferes with their own plans or enjoyment.

Secondly, most people are too wrapped up in their own worlds to really care about yours.

Thirdly, being judged negatively by other people has no actual physical or emotional affect on your life, unless you let it.

And finally… you can ignore those fears and thoughts and push through them.

It’s your life, what has it got to do with anyone else?

Some successful people may be born where they don’t feel any anxiety or fear of judgement, but other successful people do, they just don’t allow it to stop them.

Courage and bravery is not about the absence of fear, it is the doing something despite the fear.

You can learn to accept that you feel fear and anxiety and you can simply choose to ignore it and push through it.

Many successful and brave people do because their desire for success and money is greater than the fear itself. They don’t want it to stop them from achieving their goals.

Susan Jeffers built a successful career as an author selling a series of books titled ‘Fear The Fear, And Do It Anyway!’

She suggests that people should simply understand that they will always feel fear when they do something new and that it is in fact nothing to fear.

As the saying goes…

‘There is nothing to fear but fear itself.’

OK, that isn’t always true, there are dangerous people, places, and situations which are best avoided should you ever be faced with them, but on the whole, most fears people have which hold them back are generally unfounded and not real.

They are nothing more than thoughts in their own heads.

The feeling of fear may be uncomfortable, but it doesn’t feel as bad as regret.

It certainly is a lot shorter lasting than the feeling of regret which can haunt a person for a lifetime.

Another favourite saying of mine is…

‘Know Thyself!’

For me this is all about understanding who you are as a person, and as a human being.

You must know how you ‘tick’ and how your body works.

Knowing that fear is an ancient biological mechanism designed to protect a person and is often triggered when you do something new, you know that most situations in life today are not as dangerous as coming face-to-face with a sabre toothed tiger or a huge woolly mammoth.

Yes, you will fear scared, and yes, it may feel uncomfortable (the intensity of the feeling can vary between people) but it won’t kill you.

And once you have done the ‘scary’ thing for a few minutes or for a few times, your perception and feelings of that situation will change and you will feel more comfortable doing it.

It is no longer something new and potentially dangerous, it is something that you know and have done before.

Fear is often triggered when we do something that we don’t know much about. We don’t know what the outcome will be.

Once we know what that outcome is, it is no longer something to fear… for most people that is.

There are some people who really do suffer with social anxieties and they can really struggle. There may be a biological reason at fault here. Their bodies may produce too much or too little of specific hormones or neurotransmitters.

For those people, ignoring these feelings and faking a ‘couldn’t care less’ attitude may be harder… but that’s not to say they can’t do it.

For those who want financial success that doesn’t require being in the public light and shouldn’t create too much fear and anxiety in them, they should consider borrowing confidence from James Bond and try their hand at online Baccarat.

Dan Crozier decided to see if there was a way to make money online playing Baccarat after watching the James Bond classic ‘Dr No’.

He discovered that there was.

Baccarat is a very simple game with very clear and simple rules. It’s actually way easier to understand and play than Blackjack and Roulette. But you don’t have to actually understand it at all to make money from it!

2.5 Week’s Work = £56,400!

I was reading a very interesting email over the weekend.

The email shared the story of a guy who spent two and a half weeks writing a book which he published on Amazon last year.

That one book has generated roughly £56,400!

This guy runs several businesses including a successful fiction writing business which earns him six to seven figures each year.

This book that he published last year was not one of his fiction books; it was a non-fiction book which helped solve a problem.

Because it wasn’t fiction, he was able to sell it for a slightly higher price.

With this being a ‘how-to’ style information focused book, he didn’t write a book off the top of his head, he simply went to a specific tool that:

  • Showed him what people were searching for on Amazon.
  • What the competition was for specific keywords.

And get this…

  • How much he could potentially make each month from selling books based on specific keywords.
  • And what price to sell his books at.

He has since repeated the process and now has several of these ‘how to’ style books all earning him over £1,000 per month, each!

Because he has written books around specific keywords and searched terms, he does very little marketing.

He does this for passive pocket money.

These books generate a passive income which he uses to top up his retirement fund.

He says that he expects to retire from all of his businesses, which are now mostly being run by employees, at the age of 38.

He says that these books are his side-side-side-side-side gig.

They are not his main businesses. They are not his main focus. They are something he works on on the side when he has any spare time.

And yet these books bring in over £158,000 in royalty profits each year.

That is the great thing about owning your own intellectual property such as eBooks.

They are assets which people can buy online for many years, generating an automated and passive income.

He sells most of his books on Amazon and Audible (audio versions of his books), but he also sells them from his own websites too.

When you create your own digital products such as eBooks, you can add them to multiple platforms to sell. And once they are on those platforms, you need not doing anything else.

Everything is automated.

You can do the same.

Another Way To Profit From The Palm Of Your Hands!

The other day I was being shown a video on Instagram and I spotted something interesting.

The video was of a bus being painted by a Brazilian street artist, named Dan Roots, and his team. It was a big job and it looked quite good when they were finished.

What I found more interesting than the actual bus being painted was the new ‘subscribe’ button at the top of the video.

Dan Roots is taking payment for exclusive and extra content he posts on Instagram.

This is a powerful tool for creators, influencers, and… well, anybody really.

It means that anyone can earn money sharing exclusive and extra content alongside the content they share for free.

It makes sense to offer exclusive content for subscribers; otherwise there is no reason for people to subscribe.

That is what every other person does that runs a subscription part to their free profile, whether that is on Patreon, X (formerly Twitter), OnlyFans, Substack, or one of the other platforms that allow you to take payment.

Translating Portuguese to English (using the Google Translate app) I can see what his subscribers are getting.

  • Subscriber seal (I’m not sure what that means exactly).
  • Exclusive content.
  • Social and broadcast channels.
  • Behind the Scenes.
  • Ask a question.
  • Access and early releases.
  • Coaching
  • Classes

Dan Roots is not charging a lot each month.

From what I can see, he is only charging £2.49 which is not a lot for what you get as a subscriber. I’m not sure if that is a straight conversion from the Brazilian Real, or whether it is set at 2.49 for all territories i.e. £2.49, $2.49, R$2.49, and €2.49.

A street artist sharing pictures and videos of his art and him creating that art wouldn’t really be able to charge a lot. As much as it is enjoyable looking at his art and watching him create, it isn’t life changing or deliver a lot of personal entertainment like reading fiction can.

However, he is also offering classes, coaching and allowing people to ask questions and so I believe he could maybe charge up to £10 a month at least.

What I like about this is that here is a guy sharing content on Instagram, a free social media platform that can be accessed globally, who is now earning money by publishing exclusive and easy-to-create content for paying subscribers.

I don’t know how many people he has subscribed; I don’t think there is a way to see. What I can see is that he has 396,000 followers on Instagram. If just 0.5% (1,980 people) of that following paid £2.49 a month to see his exclusive content, he would be making around £4,930 each month.

scroll down to carry on reading…

FREE Blueprint & Video Tutorial - Request Your Instant Online Access Now!

I doubt that he is making thousands per month due to the nature of the content, but who am I to say? There are people who pay a lot of money to see pictures of feet!

Yes, liking feet is more of a sexual thing – and as we know most things sexual can be big earners, but still… if foot worshippers and feet fetishists are willing to pay to see pictures of feet, then there may be a fair amount of people who appreciate specific street art and artists, who are willing to pay to access that form of content.

I know for a fact that one of our team, Andi, was a big fan of graffiti and street art when he was younger and had a large collection of books and magazines on the subject.

Before the internet allowed artists to share their work around the world, he sent for books and magazines from countries such as Australia, Germany, France, Denmark, and the USA.

He has since sold his collection. One French book dedicated to the French train graffiti scene must have been a limited edition as he sold it for £50, far more than what he paid for it nearly twenty years previous. Proof that people love their hobbies!

Andi says that over the years he must have spent several hundred pounds collecting books and magazines around that one subject.

So if he was willing to do that, then it is safe to assume that there will be people who are willing to pay a small monthly fee to access ‘real-time’ and interactive content in the subjects that interest them from the people they ‘like’.

If Andi had paid several hundred pounds to buy books and magazines around a specific subject, then paying £2.49 a month is nothing. It is less than £30 for the year.

I noticed that Dan Roots’ profile on Instagram was ‘verified’ and that I believe is why he has the option of running a subscription side to his Instagram. It is the same over on X (formerly Twitter).

Becoming verified on Instagram costs nothing, you simply need to send in government approved documentation proving that you are who you say you are, and if Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram) are happy, they will verify you and you are good to go.

For those who are not verified or wish not to be, you could simply charge a monthly fee and send your exclusive content in group chats. You don’t need to be verified to do that, but it is a bit of a faff compared to the new method.

Now that Instagram and X have a subscription option, they process the payment and you publish content just as you would when you publish the free content, only this time you check a box to say who can see it.

If you chose to use the other ‘non-verified’ method that I have talked about previously where you send content to group chats, you have to set up an external method of taking payment. It’s doable, but doing it all in-house is a lot easier.

The reason I am sharing this today is that I wanted to highlight yet another way to make money from the palm of your hand using only a smartphone.

With Instagram, all videos and photographs can be taken with a smartphone and then uploaded directly to the platform.

The pictures and videos can also be edited using a smartphone either within the Instagram app, or using a video editing app.

You can even do live broadcasts using your smartphone.

In the previous article where I talked about Jeff and his two three minute slots on local radio, this is more powerful because you yourself can broadcast live for however long you want, when you want, and you can reach people all across the world!

It can all be done using your smartphone… from the palm of your hand… from wherever you are in the world!

Now that is powerful!

This could be a real gold mine for a lot of people.

Kind regards.

John Harrison.

PS… Another goldmine is newsletters. They too earn money through paying subscribers and like the example above, you make money by selling access to the same one piece of content to multiple people.

Write a newsletter once, record one video, and sell access to them both to hundreds of people. Then do it all again next month.

The EASIEST Way To Start A PROFITABLE Newsletter!

Success Is Difficult To Achieve Without ‘Road Signs’

I’ve just watched a short video of two people, Jeff and Marilyn, talking about making money running online memberships.

Jeff, who was hosting the interview, runs a membership program teaching people how to start and run their own profitable memberships where people pay a monthly fee to access specific content.

The woman being interviewed has a website and newsletter in the nutrition and herbalism niche. She sells a couple of eBooks from her website, but she wanted to take it to the next level and run a monthly membership.

She believes that what she shares with the world could help a lot of people and her vision is to have one million people in her membership.

One million sounds a lot, I want to say that it would be impossible, it is a HUUUUGE number, but with the internet being a global thing with over 5 billion daily users, it could be possible.

It does depend on what you offer.

Peloton has over 5.9 million members on its platform. 2.33 million of them subscribe to Peloton’s connected fitness membership (£24p/m here in the UK) of which 874,000 are digital-only subscribers.

Peloton offers a lot such as product discounts, training and shared activities.

But it goes to show that it is possible to have over a million subscribers online, however, you have got to be really driven and motivated to build a business up to that level.

Jeff mentioned another woman who runs a membership and her vision was to have 100,000 people paying her just $9 per month to access her content. That would give her a rather decent $900,000 (£718,326 ATOW) per month.

That’s probably more doable than having one million subscribers.

For most people though, having a membership with just a few hundred people would be more achievable and very beneficial.

Just 200 people paying £10 is £2,000 a month which I imagine for most people would be more than useful in life.

Even more so when you consider that a monthly membership does not have to require much content.

scroll down to carry on reading…

FREE Blueprint & Video Tutorial - Request Your Instant Online Access Now!

During the interview, Jeff mentioned that he was a big fan of low service delivery which means not actually giving subscribers too much.

The reason he loves low service delivery is that it means you are not overwhelmed with work, and it also means low service consumption for paying members which means that they are not overwhelmed either.

Delivering too much content each month can actually put people off if they start to think that there is too much for them to study or take in.

With that in mind, Jeff suggests that you do just one 20-30 minute training session and perhaps a live Q&A session… per month.

Those two sessions, maybe delivered two weeks apart, will mean nothing more than an hour’s work tops for you. More than enough for the membership each month.

Could you spend at least one hour a month creating new content for a membership?

Obviously, there is more than just one hour’s work as you need to get people to join your membership. They won’t just appear and join once you set your membership live.

People need to be shown your products and services, and that means creating and publishing content online that directs people to them like road signs.

Each piece of content is a sign pointing back to your paid-for products.

Before you begin to fear that creating these online ‘road signs’ is going to be a lot of hard and time-consuming work, it doesn’t have to be.

Just like me, Jeff is a big fan of repurposing content.

In one example, he talked about the time he wrote a weekly article for a local newspaper when he worked as a counsellor.

As soon as the newspaper published his article on the Monday, on the following Wednesday he would go to a local radio station and do one three minute live session talking about the content from that article.

He would then record a further three minute session which was aired on the Friday.

People would often ask him if he got paid for the time he talked on the radio, his answer was ‘not directly’. The reason he was doing the short radio show was because it was free advertising.

How much would it have cost him to have six minutes of radio advertising a week?

By doing those short sessions, he was getting six minutes of free advertising each week where he and his knowledge were the main focus.

Basically, people were getting to know him. His name was being broadcast far and wide… well, to the local community that is.

The local community would then know who to go to when they needed specific services due to the fact he was becoming a local celebrity.

That twice weekly three minute slot on the radio was a powerful ‘road sign’.

In a previous article I talked about a really simple way of creating content, similar to Jeff’s radio slot, which would be ideal for creating ‘road signs’.

It doesn’t take up a lot of your time either. You could get quite a fair few of these ‘road signs’ made each week.

Plus… it is actually a very easy way to create the content for a membership.

It is also very cheap to do which is pretty good when you consider that it could earn you thousands of pounds in return.

The ‘Buy Low And Sell High For Large Profits’ System Anyone Can Do From Home!

I caught an episode of the new All Creatures Great & Small programme on Channel 5 the other day. For those of you that don’t know, All Creatures Great & Small is a television show based on the popular books by James Herriot.

James Herriot, real name James Alfred Wight, was an English veterinary surgeon and author (I’ve no idea why he is Scottish in the new adaption of the show, he did go to university in Glasgow, but other than that, he is English) who wrote a series of successful books about his life and experiences working as a vet in Yorkshire.

What I found interesting was that the veterinary practice where he worked had a house maid, Mrs Hall, who took care of everything else such as the cleaning, cooking and general house and practice upkeep.

I have written about this previously where I talked about the popular television shows Father Brown and Grantchester which followed clergymen who had a strong interest for amateur sleuthing.

In fact, they were far from amateur as they somehow managed to solve the crimes before the police and were often called upon to assist in a lot of cases.

Both clergymen, like most vicars and priests back in the day, had women who ran the house for them.

By employing someone to do all of the day-to-day jobs, the men were able to get on with the work they were better equipped to do.

The work they did bought in the money (or gods work and crime busting in the case of the clergymen) and so if they were able to focus on it without distraction and without having to factor in the cleaning, cooking, changing the beds, washing pots, shopping, and the like, they were able to focus more and achieve more.

Some people may get offended at the idea and suggest that this is some kind of unhealthy misogynistic patriarchal society, and in the past there may have been some of that going on, but the truth is this is just wise working where one person employs another person to do specific tasks so that they can focus on others.

It doesn’t have to be just men hiring female house keepers, yes it’s true that was more common in the 1940s, but it could also be women hiring men to ‘keep house/office’ while they focus on doing the work they prefer.

The point is this… a lot of time is lost doing small daily living tasks and if you are one of those people who:

  1. Doesn’t like doing those kinds of tasks.
  2. Would prefer to focus more time and effort on the tasks that you enjoy and brings in more money.

…employing someone to do specific work for you is probably a very good idea.

Let’s say that you had a way to make money which paid you £100 every hour, every hour that you spend doing things such as shopping, cleaning, cooking, changing bedding, etc, is £100 lost.

If you hire or employed someone to do that work for you, then every hour they free you up is worth £100.

Let’s say that you pay a person £400 a week to come and do specific work for you freeing you up and extra 2 hours per day, and that you spent those 2 hours each day working… you will earn an extra £1,000 per week.

After paying the person £400, you are left with an extra £600, you are fed and watered, and you have a clean and well organised home.

Sounds good, right?

Many business owners hire personal assistants to help them run errands and the day-to-day stuff so that they can focus on the work that really matters.

Professional sports teams don’t wash their own kits; they have other people do that for them so that they can focus on perfecting their sport.

Musicians, actors, and celebrities have managers and runners who organise their work lives for them.

Hiring home/office help is a great way to get more done because it allows you to focus on the higher earning work while paying to get the lesser worth work done.

If you pay someone £12 per hour to clean your home while you work to earn £50, you are £38 per hour in pocket and you have the work you don’t want to do being done for you.

That is one of the most powerful secrets to success.

Another secret to success is to find specific products cheap, and then sell them for a large profit.

Starting with £100, you want to find an item that you can sell for £200… and then find an item for £200 that you can sell for £400 until you can afford to buy multiple items at a higher price which can be sold for double the purchase price giving you more profit for little work.

Gary Lister does just that, he buys items that he knows he can sell for double the purchase price. He started small and has now grown to the point he can generate £1,263 per week flipping specific items he finds being sold cheap.

PS… There are several reasons as to why people sell off specific items cheaply, Gary has found one item that people are often in a rush to sell off and so they sell it at half the value to get rid of it quickly.

Gary snaps them up quickly, and then sells them at their full value making hundreds of pounds, sometimes thousands of pounds, in profits for a few minutes work.

It Costs Pennies To Get Started With But Could Generate Tens Of Thousands Of Pounds

As we put the finishing touches to another product ready to be launched soon, it makes me wonder why more people do not consider creating information products to sell.

I foresee this product making a lot of money over the next few years. What it teaches is unique, real, and can make people a lot of money.

The manual is around 70 pages long and there is a series of short videos. That may sound like a lot of work to you, but I can tell you that it is actually incredible simple to create.

We have another product being put together and roughly 25 pages of the manual were written in a few hours. That included taking screenshots and editing them for the manual.

The manual is currently being written in Google Docs, which is Google’s free-to-use version of Word.

I believe there will be a few videos accompanying that product and they will be made using screen capture software called Screenpal. Screenpal has a free version but it adds a watermark to the videos.

To remove the watermark from the videos you need to pay a small fee for the Pro version, and considering how much information products can earn, it really is a small fee.

It will cost somewhere around £40 for the whole year to use the Pro version. That is nothing compared to the thousands of pounds information products can earn.

For screen capture videos (showing people what you are doing on your computer) you just need to talk into a microphone and tell people what they are seeing and what you are doing.

Laptops come with built-in microphones which are pretty good, but a decent external one that you plug into your laptop can cost less than £20.

So, for £60 or less, you can create an information product that could potentially earn you thousands of pounds.

Obviously, you need to have a place to sell them from and you need people to sell your information products too.

As I have said in the past, I am more than happy to take a look at any information products that are sent our way to see if they are a good match with our customers.

Having your own online store is an option and it can be incredibly cheap to do too. A website can cost as little as £150 for two years.

Whenever I think about that, it just amazes me.

£150 to have your own piece of online real estate where you can set up multiple fully automated passive income streams is just a ridiculously incredible price… for two years!

That works out at around 20 pence a day.

It’s hardly a big expense.

You don’t need to sell many products before you have covered the £150 cost. Just one product priced at £150 will take care of that, and there are many products you can sell for that price.

I really don’t know why more people are not embracing this business model and publishing digital products of their own.

It’s possibly one of the easiest businesses to get into today because you can have a website built, a product created and listed online for sale within a day.

I’m not saying that you will… but it can be done that quickly, especially if the product is a simple short eBook or video training.

Remember, it’s not the length of the product that matters; it’s what it is about that is important. That is where the value and worth can be found.

If an eBook or video helps a person solve a problem then it is worth the money.

A simple eBook or video training can be incredibly helpful to others… and as I say, they can be incredible simple to make.

Once you have made one, you make another and then another… and before you know it, you are on your way to building your own six-figure-a-year empire.

Sometimes You Need Only Supply The Meeting Place To Make Money

Andi, our remote worker living in Portugal, told me the other day that his good lady organised some flowers to be delivered to their daughter here in the UK to congratulate her on being offered a new job in Sheffield… not too far from us here at the Streetwise offices.

It was a job she really wanted and apparently she ‘bossed’ the interview and was offered the job the next day.

The flowers arrived within a couple of hours of being ordered through the Interflora website.

What is impressive is that somewhere in deepest Portugal, an order was made online, and an actual bouquet of flowers arrived at someone’s door in middle England.

There are several points to take from this:

  1. Interflora work as a middleman where they take orders from people all over the UK/World and they send the order to the nearest registered florist, and take a fee for passing on customers.

  2. Because orders can be taken and processed online, a business like this can connect with local businesses in multiple countries, not just in one territory.

  3. Just like Uber, Airbnb, Check-A-Trader, Just Eat, and Booking.com… you do not actually need to own, create, deliver, or offer any property, product, or service yourself. You simply connect two sets of people who need each other.

Just before sitting down to write this article I was reading an email from a guy who was talking about buying and selling websites from a specific marketplace and how the website was making somewhere between 20% and 30% commissions on all sales.

He was thinking of building his own platform from where other people could sell websites.

This was another middleman business because the website (marketplace) owners were giving websites builders and owners a place to list their websites, and for those who wish to buy a website a place to shop with trusted security.

They offered a secure place where the two groups of people could meet and make a deal.

Apart from the website where other websites were listed for sale, the company did not build, own, or sell any other websites, products, or services.

They didn’t need to.

They took a percentage from all transactions that occurred on their platform.

Other people buying and selling websites is how they make their money.

More and more of these middleman websites are appearing online, and part of the reason why is that they can be incredible cheap to start.

Apart from some marketing costs – which can be quite cheap at the beginning – all that is required is the website build and hosting costs.

Most businesses have the website costs on top of many other bigger business expenses.

With an online middleman business, the website is usually the biggest and often the only cost.

I read recently about a guy in Bangladesh who built a small website that is now earning him over £1,600 per month.

The website cost him £4,000 to build. His initial outlay was made back quite quickly.

That money was made by having other people paying to use his website and purchase products and services through it.

He doesn’t supply any products or services, and yet he is making a rather decent amount of money – in a relatively poor part of the world, I may add – through the actions of website users.

If you have a few thousand pounds spare, you may want to consider having your own middleman website built. They are a fantastic way to make money without you having to do any of the work that is offered via the website.

You just supply a platform where two sets of people can meet, and leave the rest up to them.

Of course, you need to get people to use your platform, but there are ways of doing that which won’t cost you a lot of time and money.

If, that sounds like too much hard work and expense, then you may want to consider taking advantage of an existing middleman business and make money by using a system like John Bank’s Easy As 123 System which takes readily-available information and turns it into easy profits using Betfair.

There’s another profitable advantage to be had now that winter is upon us and that is that most of the horse races today are run on jump tracks, a track favoured by John as they are the most profitable for him.

Making £10,000+ Per Month Using Witchcraft!

In the previous article I mentioned about the woman who makes around £123,840 a year publishing a newsletter about witchcraft.

Today I am going to share more details about her and why I think anyone can do what she is doing.

Amanda Yates Garcia lives in Los Angeles and makes a full-time income running a newsletter focusing on witchcraft.

Her newsletter, Mystery Cult with Amanda Yates Garcia is, from what I can see, $30 a month (about £24 at time of writing).

Amanda has 13,000 people subscribing to her free newsletter, with 430 of those paying to access more of her content.

I don’t know what paying subscribers get compared to the free subscribers, but Amanda publishes twice a week.

In a recent interview Amanda said:

“I offer essays, monthly live full-moon rituals, a monthly downloadable Witch Guide, live chats, a reading group, and surprise gifts like meditation MP3s and playlists. I write about the symbology of the season (like the full moon in Libra and what it means); I write about what’s most urgent for me in my own practice (like when ADHD gets in the way of your ritual practice, or how to deal with muggles family gatherings); or essays about things I’m studying and want to share (like the mythologies of the goddess Hekate, the phenomenology of alchemy, how paganism and ecology relate, etc.).”

I have no idea as to what any of that means, but it seems that 13,000 people love it and 430 pay to get more of it.

What I love about this is that this is a perfect example of a person earning a six-figure income each year selling information that is not in the expected make money online niche.

She hit six figures within a year of starting her online newsletter.

Amanda is making over £10,000 each and every month sharing information about witchcraft.

If she can do it, other people can… and in many different niches.

I know that I have been repeating myself about newsletters lately, but there is a reason for that, and that is that they can be incredibly profitable, they can be incredibly easy to do (you can start a newsletter today), and more importantly, they can be a lot of fun.

When something is fun and making money, it ceases to be work.

The other point I want to get across is… well, there’s two of them, and they are:

  1. The content is super easy to create today – I’ll share some examples with you shortly.

  2. Profit is based on numbers and not the amount of work involved – a newsletter with just one paying subscriber is the same newsletter if it had 500 paying subscribers. You only create it once.

This article is a piece of content worthy of being a newsletter and part of a monthly subscription.

I am writing this on a laptop using MS Word and once it is complete, I can either copy & paste it into whatever platform I use to deliver my newsletter, or I can save it as a PDF and upload it to wherever I house my newsletters.

It is all incredibly simple to do.

Amanda often surprised her subscribers with MP3s; these too are incredibly easy to create.

Audio recordings can be done using just your smartphone and can also be uploaded directly to your chosen newsletter platform.

The quality is more than acceptable and you can also edit audio files on your smartphone with ease.

Smarphones are no longer just phones; they are sophisticated handheld computers with more computing power than the space craft that took men to the moon.

People attach smartphones to ring lights and microphones and record video and audio content that they sell individually or as part of products.

It has revolutionised the content creation and adult industries. Anyone can be an online influencer and adult star thanks to these mini handheld computers.

This means that you too can be a star… or at least easily create content that you can use as part of a product such as a paid-for monthly newsletter.

With a smartphone you can:

  • Take great photos.
  • Record videos.
  • Record audio.
  • Write articles.
  • Convert speaking to text.
  • Create graphics.
  • Edit video and audio.

A smartphone can be a complete content creation machine, and it’s all at your fingertips.

I am not going to say that you will be making £10,000 a month within a year like Amanda Yates Garcia, but her example shows that it is possible.

For most people, hitting just £1,000 a month would be a welcomed bonus and that is more than doable I believe.

Kind regards.

John Harrison
