Here’s A 2nd Offline Marketing Method That Could Make You A Lot Of Online Sales

In a previous article I discussed in detail the idea of having flyers and postcards printed as a way to advertise high ticket online products which paid you an affiliate commission of 50% or more.

Today, I want to expand on that idea a little more and talk about something else ‘offline’ that you could do which is relatively affordable.

I also don’t see anyone doing it which means that you will stand out if you do it.

I can understand why no one else is doing it because it means having graphics or signage on the sides of your car, but for what you can earn in commissions it would be well worth it.

I did a quick check on one site and could see that you can buy 2 magnetic car signs for as little as £18.42. That is colour printed signs too.

I don’t know how much wording you have on them, but you could easily have several lines of text and a website address.

Imagine being an affiliate for a product which pays 50% of £1,997 and having that sign on your car as you drive around the country.

Imagine, and this is a bit naughty, being a delivery driver and as soon as you pull out of the yard you slap on these signs and then drive around the town.

You don’t need too much written content on your signs. You just need enough to grab people’s attention and have them curious enough to go and find out more details.

As mentioned in the previous email when I talked about flyers, you could have a QR code added to the sign so that anyone nearby with a mobile phone can scan it and be taken directly to the webpage.

Here’s a great example of a dog charity in Thailand using a QR code on the back of their truck…

As all ways, I recommend that you create your own website with a decent URL that sits between the sign and the sales page of the affiliate product.

When I say a decent URL I mean something like www.BinTheDayJob.com and not www.bit.ly/33£$123Xcy!

The URL has to be easy to read and easy to remember.

The QR code will do the job nicely, but you should have a web address for people to see in case they want to check it out later.

The way I see it is… you pay £20… £30… maybe even £50, you could possibly splash out £100 on having magnet car signs made (or graphics permanently added to your car), and wherever you go, wherever your vehicle is park…

People can see your website that has your affiliate link.

Obviously, you won’t order signs that look like traditional trade signs that have a person’s name, their trade (carpenter or plumber etc), their contact details such as phone number and website…

No, you will be creating an advert that stands out to people which then directs them to an online address.

Something like this:

OK, it isn’t beautiful, but it doesn’t need to be, in fact, it is better if it is plain an ugly.

Keep it simple so that people only have to do two things:

  1. Read the text.

  2. Decide whether to visit the website or not.

Don’t over complicate things and don’t confuse people.

Confused people do not buy or click links to visit websites.

Confusing people is the fastest way to putting them off.

Remember the acronym: KISS

It stands for Keep It Stupidly Simple!

I have heard it being called Keep It Simple, Stupid, but I prefer the first version as it is less insulting.

We humans love cool arty-farty imagery and flashy graphics, but when it comes to making sales, they can detract and confuse people so it is always a good to Keep It Stupidly Simple.

The sign on your vehicle has just one job, and that is to send people to a specific webpage.

Selling the product or getting people to sign-up for more information is the job of the website… and again, we use the KISS principle to avoid confusing people.

Once the system is set up, you simply drive around showing your car graphics or signs to as many people as possible.

Does this sound like something you could be interested in doing?

Kind regards.

Here’s An Offline Marketing Method To Make A Stack Of Online Sales

A few years ago, I wrote about a method of making money online that used a specific offline marketing tool, I am going to revisit that idea today as I believe it to be one that has a lot of potential.

It does have a bit of a ‘shotgun marketing’ feel to it which some people call hope marketing because you put your marketing materials out in front of untargeted people and ‘hope’ that someone is interested…

But I still think that it is something that should be considered… and my reason for that is…

The cost of doing it and the potential profits that can come from doing it.

Basically, it’s cheap to do and the profits could be HUGE in comparison!

For example, take a look at the image below:

In the screenshot above, you can see that you can purchase thousands of colour flyers of various sizes for less than £100.

In the top left corner you can see that you can have 5,000 A5 flyers printed for £98.72 (£118.46 with VAT).

That price is for colour print on both sides of the flyer.

For £178.44 (£214.13 with VAT) you can have 10,000 flyers printed!

scroll down to carry on reading

FREE Blueprint & Video Tutorial - Request Your Instant Online Access Now!

Obviously, there will be delivery costs on top of those prices, but still… they are remarkable prices when you consider the amount of flyers you get, and the potential profits there is to be had.

If you were to find a product on Clickbank, or JVZoo which paid you an affiliate commission of £250 or more and added the most important details on to a flyer, you would only need to make one sale to make your money back.

Make 10 sales and you have made yourself £2,500 minus the cost of the flyers.

Depending on the product, and what you put on the flyer, I imagine that you should easily make 10 sales or more.

Having 5,000 leaflets printed for a little under £120 is great, but they won’t make you any money if they are sitting in a box in your office, you need to distribute them.

There are laws which you must follow when it comes to distributing leaflets.

You occasionally see people sticking leaflets on car windscreens, and as much as this is a great way to have people see your leaflets, it is classed as ‘littering’ and you can be prosecuted for it.

Posting letters through people’s letter boxes in their homes is legal and you can hand them out to people on streets as long as you are not blocking the way or standing on private property.

This is something you could do yourself, or you could pay someone to do it for you.

If you know any teenagers in your immediate or extended family that needs some extra money this could be the perfect easy job for them.

The other option is to go and place leaflets at all of the public places and businesses that have pin boards for advertising local businesses, or allow you to leave a pile of leaflets on their counter.

I know of a guy who once left free copies of his books on the counters of coffee shops for people to take for free.

Inside of those books he also had a printed postcard which had a QR code that took people directly to his website as soon as it was scanned on a phone.

Imagine that for a minute… a person enjoying a drink in a coffee shop scans a QR code on a postcard or flyer and within a second or two is browsing through your website.

We are talking instantaneously accessing your website without having to type in any long web address.

A quick scan and people could be on your website checking out your products and services.

Now, that is powerful!

Imagine that you spent £120 to have 5,000 flyers printed that pointed people to an affiliate product that paid you $1,000 (£765 ATOW)… you would surely get a sale or two from that.

I’m in the opinion you would get more.

If you position your leaflets where they can be seen by more than one person and that they have a visible QR code or web address so that people can check out the product you are promoting there and then…

I image you could have a lot more than a handful of sales!

That’s depending on the product and what your flyer says, of course.

If your flyer was dull as dishwater and was promoting a ‘brass rubbing’ course that only your long-dead great-great-grandfather may have been interested in…

Then I doubt you will make a single sale.

I do suggest that you register a domain name that is short and sweet, set up a landing page that gives away a free product (report, long article, video, etc) in exchange for an email address and then in that free product, and the following emails, you promote the affiliate product.

That way you build an email list so that you can tell them about similar products and even keep pushing the original product to those who had yet to purchase it.

It can often help sales if you send people to a piece of relative information instead of directly to a sales page.

It helps to warm people up to the idea that they need the product you are promoting.

And when you send people directly to an affiliate sales page you lose them forever, as least when you send them to a land page and build an email list first – known as a bridge or segue page – you can contact them again.

Does this sound like something that you could do?

Kind regards

John Harrison

PS. Talking about sending people to long articles or reports, here’s one that I think you will find useful.

How To Build A Six-Figure-A-Year Income Without Spending A Penny Of Your Own Money!

The Painful Cost Of Pleasure And Why You Need To ACT NOW To Prevent It!

A quick Google search tells me that the average UK hourly wage for full-time employees was £17.48 in 2023.

I can’t image that it has increased much in the last year. Let’s say for arguments sake that the average Brit now needs to work one full hour to earn £18.

And that is without taking pension, N.I. contributions, and income tax into consideration.

Why am I telling you this?

Well, at the weekend, Andi, one of our team, called at a small eatery in Retford (he is now back from Portugal) and ordered two coffees and two cakes costing him £15.75.

It took less than 30 minutes to place the order, enjoy the food and drink, and leave.

The actually eating and drinking part was probably no more than 15 minutes.

When you stop and think about it, it doesn’t take much for you to spend the money you earn.

What takes an hour of working to earn can be spent in a matter of minutes.

With one thing and another, Andi had spent a full days wage on food and drink over the weekend… possibly more.

It really doesn’t take a lot to spend the money you earn.

Sadly, for most people there is a kind of Pleasure and Pain trade off.

Pleasure costs more than they earn per hour… but the Pain of earning money lasts longer.

For example: it can take an hour to earn the price of a meal, but it can take 20 minutes to eat that meal.

Tickets to see your favourite band can cost several hours of working (or a whole week’s wage if you are going to see the Oasis reunion!), yet the band will probably only perform for 45 minutes.

Pleasure comes with a financial cost which is really measured in time.

For every coffee or beer you enjoy at a café or bar costs you time at work.

Every meal you enjoy at a restaurant also costs you time at work.

The more you spend, the more you need to work!

There is an hourly rate for everything you buy… and very few people realise it.

When you look at things this way, it can become a little depressing.

The idea that pleasure costs you a lot of time can make it less pleasurable.

It is at this point that you face a fork in the road of your future…

You can either carry on as you were, maybe cutting back a bit so that you are not working so hard just to pay for fleeting pleasures…

Or you can decide to look for a way to generate extra money that will pay for those treats and more.

Ideally, this second income wants to be one that is mostly passive because you don’t want to swap one job for another.

You should be reducing the amount of work you do, not increasing it!

The idea of a second income should be to take away the stress and strains of everyday spending giving you more breathing space… and a more pleasurable life.

I’ve said it plenty of times over the last few years, and I’ll keep saying it because people really need to understand this…

We currently live in the greatest period ever in all of human history to be able to make money from home thanks to the development of the internet and digital products.

I can only see it getting better.

The digital revolution allows us to create something once and sell it many times.

You can create a digital product and sell it hundreds of times… thousands of times… and possibly tens of thousands of times.

And it doesn’t have to cost you the Earth to create digital products, either.

A simple PDF can be created by using the free-to-use software, Google Docs. Take a look at the video here:

PS. Imagine having a dozen or more digital products floating around online, waiting for people to buy them and click on any affiliate links embedded within.

And imagine that those digital products promoted products and services which paid you commissions of £500 or more per sale.

Does that sound good to you?

If You Want Success In Anything… You Need To Use A DMO

Today, I want to share a little tip with you that will guarantee success.

The thing that I want to talk about today is the use of a Daily Method of Operation, DMO for short.

One of the reasons people fail is that they work at things as if it was a hobby. They do things a little willy-nilly.

They have a wishy-washy approach to the work that needs doing.

They may spend half an hour doing a specific task one day, and then the next day they do nothing.

A couple of days later they may spend just five minutes on the task, and then do nothing for several days… or worse, do nothing for several weeks.

In most cases, success comes from the daily execution of small tasks.

As someone once said, success comes from doing the boring dull tasks that others would rather not do.

A DMO is essentially a plan. It is a plan of actions that you must complete each and every day… or at least on specific days of the week.

Perfect example of this is this DMO of someone building a business on Facebook:

  1. Build An Audience: Add new friends x 20 per day, including accepting friend requests from others. Invite people to my group, post in other groups and be present to answer and comments.

  2. Add Value To My Audience: Post content on my timeline, post content in my group, post a story.

  3. Make Offers To My Audience: Post different offers to my group and on my timeline. Offers = PDFs, videos, and workshops that solve specific problems, and 1-1 mentoring and support.

The above was based upon the DMO of a guy called Jamie who makes six-figures-a-year using only Facebook.

They are the three things he focuses on each day.

Sending friend requests to new people is a boring ball-ache of a job, but he does it each and every day.

Why?

scroll down to carry on reading

FREE Blueprint & Video Tutorial - Request Your Instant Online Access Now!

Because if he didn’t, he wouldn’t have anyone to sell his products and services too.

It’s as simple as that.

He knows that he needs an audience to sell to and so he spends time each day growing his audience and building a relationship with it.

It is a priority.

It may be boring and dull… but it has reaped huge rewards for him.

By spending the time building that audience, creating the content he shared on Facebook, and gaining experience selling on Facebook, he now has large numbers of people requesting to join his Facebook group and requesting to be friends with him.

By following his DMO, he has set himself up with a business that he no longer needs to build like he did in the early days, he now simply manages it.

Yes, he will still spend the time each day building his audience but he is now in a position where he could stop for a month or two and still be able to make decent money each month.

The audience will now grow itself.

A DMO is basically a system… it is a plan… a blueprint.

Call it what you will… but it is something that you follow to the letter and you do it each and every day.

Success is dependent on it.

It is one of the things people hate to hear, but you need to be consistent and you need to put the legwork in at the beginning.

I have seen people complain that they have not been able to find clients for their writing work after sending a handful of emails while at the same time seeing people build six-figure writing businesses because they send 100s of emails to potential clients.

What was the big difference?

One sent a few emails and then stopped, the other continued to send new emails each and every day until they found all the clients they needed.

Other examples of this would be the people who spent time each day building a following and sharing content on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, or Tiktok.

These people now make money on those platforms simply because they followed a Daily Method of Operation.

They stuck to the DMO and did what needed to be done each and every day.

Success will come to those who use a DMO in any business or money making venture.

The people who use a DMO while trading the financial markets or sports as a way to make money will be more successful than those who don’t.

The opposite of a DMO is an intermittent ‘hit and miss’ approach which is never going to deliver the results a person needs.

If you are struggling to make anything work, is it time that you created a Daily Method of Operation of your own and stick with it?

Kind regards

John Harrison

Is It Really Kier Starmer’s Fault?

I thought the title of this article would catch your attention, well it isn’t Clickbait, I shall come to Kier Stamer later.

But first…

I recently watched a short video about tidying up your social media platforms to promote the right look if you wanted to sell products and services online.

It said that you shouldn’t remove everything, and that you want people to align with you and your beliefs…

But it did say that you should perhaps tone it down a little otherwise you can put people off from buying from you.

In the last couple of days I happened across a couple of Facebook profiles which are perfect examples of this in action.

Example 1 put me off from going to the guy’s exercise class.

Example 2 just had nothing to tell me that he was selling a product even though I knew he was.

In the first example, I came across a local guy who was running Animal Flow exercise classes.

For those who don’t know, Animal Flow is a ground-based bodyweight workout that combines elements of yoga, gymnastics, breakdancing, and parkour with animal-inspired movements.

It uses muscles and body parts that are not used in conventional exercises and workouts.

I thought I might go and try it out one evening. Classes were only £10 and I thought it would be interesting to see what it was like.

That was until I scrolled through his Facebook profile and read a tonne of guff about vaccines, chemtrails, and the regular conspiracies that are sprouted from those who tend to smoke way too much weed and enjoy other ‘mind bending’ substances.

I am not going to say too much about the conspiracies or the apparent correlation between those who believe them and those who take a lot of drugs…

…but I recognised this guy and I know that he was a big ‘raver’ back in the early ‘90s taking a whole cocktail of drugs each weekend.

Weekdays were often spent winding down each evening with a few joints, too.

Let’s just say, I don’t think it’s chemtrails or vaccines that have affected his brain!

I’m sure that there would be no ‘conspiracy’ talk during the exercise class itself, but I really couldn’t bring myself to go just in case it did.

In my experience, you only have to say something like “it’s been unusually warm for this time of the year” and before you know it, they are ranting about chemtrails and how global warming is a scam perpetuated by the ‘elite’ (whoever they are) to rob us of our money.

I tend to avoid these people like the plague and so as soon as I saw his conspiracy posts, I was well and truly put off from going to his exercise class.

scroll down to carry on reading

FREE Blueprint & Video Tutorial - Request Your Instant Online Access Now!

The second example I saw this week was of a person who has recently bought the resale rights to digital products as a way to make some extra money.

Since purchasing the products, not once has he posted anything about them.

Nor has he posted anything that will attract people looking for the kind of products he is selling.

I don’t think I have even seen him post a link to his website where the products are sold.

What I have seen though, are multiple posts attacking Kier Starmer and the new Labour government.

He is posting stuff daily.

Sometimes he is posting several times a day… yet none of it is about the products he is selling.

At least, in the first example, the guy posted about his exercise classes a few times between posting his conspiracy guff.

I’m not passing comment on his opinions on Starmer or the new government, he may be right, he may be wrong… he may be right AND wrong on differing points, he clearly is passionate about the topic… probably more so now that he could lose his winter fuel allowance.

Who knows… Keir Starmer may increase the pension people receive or force fuel companies to lower their prices so that pensioners no longer need to rely on the WFA.

Today he is the enemy, but this time next year he may be the people’s hero, only time will tell.

But the fact is this… the guy posting anti-Starmer content is not promoting his products or doing anything to attract people who might be interested in buying them.

He is basically posting moans and complaining about things that are mostly out of his control.

He is not a political pundit or commentator who earns money from expressing his opinions, either, and so he is potentially losing more money from the lack of sales than what Labour are taking away from him as part of the winter fuel allowance.

Winter is three months long.

The winter fuel allowance is between £200 and £300 per person which is to help cover that three month period.

There are 90 days of winter in the UK, although it can be incredibly cold for many more days either side of that period, and a £300 WFA only gives you £3.33 per day.

Depending on what you are selling, a handful of sales each month should make you more each month than the whole winter fuel allowance.

For me, the idea that you spend your time complaining about losing a couple hundred pounds instead of actively selling products which could make you far more is just ridiculous.

Why would you do that?

Yes, you are right, I am moaning and complaining about what these two different guys are doing… but it is done as part of a content marketing campaign.

There is a lesson to be had, here.

Their examples are being used to educate others about what they should and shouldn’t do if they want to make more money selling digital products or services using social media.

People will read what I share and they may visit specific web pages because of it.

I am not moaning about something out of my control simply for the sake of it… I am using their stories as a way to generate sales of my products and make more money.

Social media is an incredibly powerful tool.

You can put your content out in front of tens of thousands of people for free… so why would you do it without thinking about what you can gain from it?

Social media posts will do one of two things… they will either attract or they will repel.

You cannot attract everyone, and you will not repel everyone…

But you can attract the right people and repel the wrong people.

And when I say the ‘right and wrong people’, I am referring to those who are likely to buy or not buy from you.

It is vital that you post the right kind of content to attract the right kind of people.

Once you do that… you won’t be as bothered about the few hundred quid Keir Starmer has or hasn’t stolen from you.

PS. One of the reasons why successful people are successful is that despite what is happening around them politically, they choose to focus on taking positive action and work towards putting themselves in a position where many governmental changes do not affect them.

How Would You Like £12,000 Or More Extra Each Year?

Imagine making an extra £12,000 per year.

This is an extra income on top of whatever it is that you currently make or earn.

Would that be useful to you?

I’m sure it would.

For a lot of people, that would cover their rent or mortgage costs for the year.

That alone would give people a lot of breathing space.

We are currently living in the greatest period ever of all human history for making money from home at little to zero investment costs.

If you have an internet connection of any kind, which I assume you do as you are reading this article… then you can make money online for free.

I’m not going to factor in the cost of your broadband or internet connection as I am sure you already have that now as part of ‘modern living’.

The only people that I know who don’t have any connection to the internet are people who are of a certain age that haven’t needed it for the last 80 plus years and have no interest in getting it now.

Besides, anything that needs doing online is probably done by one of their younger relations.

So, to make that extra £12,000 per year, you could create digital products using one of several free online tools, and you can sell them on one of several free-to-use platforms which take a cut from all sales transactions.

I am not going to talk about digital products necessarily, they are great, and they can be made and sold quite easily today, but like everything, you need an audience to sell to.

Finding a large audience is easy enough with multiple free-to-use social medial platforms.

Now, I am not going to blow smoke up your backside and say that it is the easiest thing in the world and that you will be making thousands of pounds within days.

You won’t.

To make £12,000 selling simple digital products such as eBooks or templates requires a lot of customers when your products are priced £20 or less.

At £10 per item, you would need to sell 1,200 items.

If you only have the one £10 product then you will need 1,200 different customers, but if you had several different £10 products, it’s possible that you will need fewer than 1,200 customers as some of them may buy multiple products from you.

It’s going to take a lot of effort to find over 1,000 customers to buy your £10 products.

But… if you were to sell a £1,000 product, then you only need to find 12 buyers, and that is far easier to do than trying to sell to over 1,000 buyers.

Yes, more people may be willing to spend £10 on a product. Finding people who are willing to spend £1,000 might be slightly harder as there will be fewer of them…

However…

You have 12 months to find just 12 buyers.

That’s 365 days to find just 12 people who are willing to purchase a £1,000 product from you.

That is 1 person per month.

When you need to find less people, it means that you can double down your efforts and focus more on doing that one thing than trying to find hundreds or even thousands of people to sell your £10 product to.

When you are no longer trying to put your products out in front of a lot of people, you are simply looking for a smaller number of the right people.

It takes away a lot of the stress because you know that when you get paid, you get paid well, and that you only need to deal with a handful of people to find the one customer you need for that one sale.

Creating a £10 digital product is one thing, but creating a £1,000 product is a completely different game altogether, one you are probably not ready to do.

But that is OK because you do not need to create a £1,000 product… you just need to sell one.

You just need to sell a product or service that pays you £1,000 per sale.

If you go to Clickbank or one of the other affiliate market places, you will that there are people selling courses that are several thousand pounds and they will pay you a commission which can be up to £1,000.

You just need to know what the product and service is about, how it can help people, and then promote it for the owner using your own unique affiliate link.

Every time a sale is made, you are paid a commission.

Could this be a good way for you to make some additional income?

Kind Regards

John Harrison

A Fast And Easy Way To Become A Millionaire

I read somewhere that one of the fastest and easiest ways to become a millionaire for most people would be to build a website based business.

The reason why it is one of the fastest ways to make a million pounds is that you would work and invest on it for a few years and then sell it.

On average, it takes a year or two to make a website super profitable and with a websites selling for 20 to 30 times what it makes per month (must be consistent for at least 6 months) you could sell a website (online business) for a million pounds quicker than it would take to make that money in many other ways.

Imagine what the website could be worth if you worked on it for 5 years!

You may not want to spend 5 years working on one website to make a million pounds, although I would have to ask “why not?”

It is one of the few ways that can make a lot of money in a relatively short period of time.

You may prefer to spend a year or two working on a several websites that you sell for less… which still adds up to a nice chunk of money.

Imagine selling 3 websites for £100,000 or more each.

Would you say no to that?

scroll down to carry on reading

FREE Blueprint & Video Tutorial - Request Your Instant Online Access Now!

Websites can take time to build and grow, but they are businesses that can be automated and left to generate an income… which is why people love to buy them.

Not only can you sell them for good money, you make money while you are building them ready to sell.

There is a big business around building and selling websites.

Some people buy websites that have been started by other people who have since given up or moved on to another project.

They snap them up for a fraction of what they could be worth and grow them to sell for a large profit, similar to how people buy houses.

Buy them, do them up, and then sell them on for a big profit.

And I do mean big profits!

When it comes to ‘flipping’ websites, your financial investment can be a lot less, and managed better over time.

I recently wrote about how I watched a property show on Channel Four where the presenters told the new homeowners that they had made a £16,000 profit (although they weren’t actually selling the property) after they had spent £530,000 buying the property and a further £54,000 on modernising it.

They had spent a staggering £584,000 to make a ‘potential’ profit of just £16,000.

I think I’d rather spend £16,000 on a website and sell it for £584,000, wouldn’t you?

We cannot really compare the two because the couple bought the house to live in it and were intending to stay in it for many years and so they weren’t actually planning to sell it and there wasn’t really a £16,000 profit.

But you see my point.

You can either build a website yourself, or you can buy one from one of the many online market places that sell websites and online businesses.

Basic websites can cost as little as a couple hundred pounds, to a couple of thousand, and they are perfect for growing into an online asset that you sell one day.

If you would be interested in knowing more, reply to this email.

I am thinking of instructing Andi, our techy guy, to do a free workshop about building and selling websites for profit.

If there are enough people interested, I shall instruct him to do the workshop.

Kind Regards

John Harrison

A couple of weeks ago, I published the article Are You A Freebie Seeker? I Have Bad News For You If You Are!

Today, I am going to do a follow up to that article.

I’m sure you have seen or heard about the riots that have been happening across the UK recently.

As I write this, we are bracing ourselves to see whether the ‘protest’ planned to happen close to our offices today happens or not.

We are hoping the police nip it in the bud before it starts.

I am not going to say much more about the riots themselves, there’s been plenty said so far with a lot of people stoking the flames from a distance and then when fingers are rightly pointed at them, they deny doing anything wrong.

Sadly, there are a lot of stupid people out there who won’t ‘own’ or take responsibility for their actions.

A lot of the people involved aren’t what you would call the brightest and best Britain has to offer.

Apparently someone arrested for smashing up a car was rather unhappy that he was recognised through video footage that caught him in action, he said… and I quote… “it was filmed without his permission”.

I kid you not!

I somehow doubt he asked for permission from the car’s owner before smashing it up!

There are other ‘hard men’ who were arrested for violent disorder that cried like babies in court, one of them called for his mother when he was being charged for his crimes.

What I really wanted to talk about were the looters that have been seen emptying shops of their products.

Social media is full of photos and videos of people with arms, bags, baskets, and even trays of goodies they have taken from shops and stores.

In one video, two girls (pictured below) were heard saying something along the lines of “it’s like Christmas” while holding baskets full of stuff they had clearly looted from a shop.

So here is what I want to say…

The FREE stuff that they have stolen, the FREE stuff that they think they are entitled to, is going to COST them FAR MORE than if they had spent a few hours a week working on a way to make extra money to buy the things they wanted.

I don’t know if these people are scumbags who shoplift regularly, or whether they are opportunists who foolishly got caught up in the moment.

Some of these people probably wouldn’t have considered stealing if it wasn’t for the fact there were scores of others doing it in front of them.

Either or, that is irrelevant now.

Now that their faces are plastered all over social media, it’s highly likely they are going to feel the long arm of the law.

I know that the guy in the St George shirt has already been arrested and processed for his part in the rioting and looting in Hull.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the others have already had the knock on the door and been greeted by the constabulary.

Social media may be responsible for allowing people to share the lies and disinformation that has lead to these riots, but it is now also being used to identify and track down those who participated.

The results of their actions will be:

  1. A criminal record.
  2. Potentially be blocked from entering other countries (that’s their holidays to Marbs, Magaluf, and Ayia Napa ruined)
  3. A spell in prison with some real nasty people looking forward to joining them in the shower.
  4. Being fired from their job.
  5. And trouble finding work in the future.

All because they wanted to get a few pairs of Crocs, some bath bombs, a tray of Greggs steak bakes, and not have to pay for them.

What is frustrating is that if you were to say to them that they could make the money required to buy those items by doing a couple of hours work each week on a side business…

They would moan that they don’t have the time… although they managed to find the time to loot a shop.

The truth is people who generally want something without paying for it, are lazy and entitled.

They want everything for nothing.

A lot of those people are finding out this week that this isn’t the case.

Nothing of value is free.

There is a cost and what that cost is to you,,, is down to you.

You can either find a way to make some extra money to pay for the things you want…

Or you can do something dumb and end up paying for it in ways that are really going to affect your life negatively.

I know which I choose.

I cannot say how much a pair of Crocs cost – bloody ugly things – or how much you’d have to pay for a full tray of steak bakes from Greggs, but I do know that there are multiple ways to make money online.

And they are often very easy and simple to do.

One perfect example of this is to build simple websites and add them to a marketplace where people buy and sell websites.

If you make a website that is a business and not just a website – ie, it makes money from advertising revenue or has a product ready for people to sell as soon as they buy it from you, you will be able to sell it for a lot more money.

A complete business-in-a-box website can be made within a day if you pre-planned what it needed and knuckled down.

Give yourself a month to work on it and it could be worth a lot more money.

That one website could sell for several hundred pounds, and possibly several thousand pounds.

It depends on who buys it, what your website is about (the product attached to it), and how much money it is making, or could potentially make.

With resale licenses for products with sales pages costing one or two thousand pounds each…

Do you not think that a website that comes with a unique digital product, a landing page to build an email list, and a sales page to sell the product from is going to be worth a decent chunk of money?

It most certainly will… more than enough to buy several pairs of Crocs and a tray of steak bakes from Greggs.

How To Create A Lead Magnet For Free Using Google Docs

I have spoken before about how to make money by giving away specific information for free.

I have previously shared the story of Pat Flynn who made tens of thousands of pounds (it could have been hundreds of thousands of pounds now) after he recorded a 4 minute video which he shared on YouTube for free.

In the video, Pat recorded himself building a WordPress website within 4 minutes using Bluehost.

Below the video in the description area he added his affiliate link for Bluehost.

People watched the video, realised that they too could build a website fast after seeing how easy Pat made it look, and they then clicked through his affiliate link to buy hosting with Bluehost.

That is the simple process that made Pat a lot of money.

That video was a lead magnet.

Recently, I shared the story about how a Serbian guy named Stevan began making more affiliate sales when he started creating lead magnets.

He recently posted this to Facebook:

The reason he saw his sales increase is because he was giving a lot of value upfront which helped to build TRUST and nurture a relationship with the person consuming the lead magnet.

As with the Pat Flynn example, people could see with their own eyes what he was doing. It was proof that what he said could be done could actually be done.

And that is powerful.

Lead magnets work the same way as sales pages.

They warm-up cold leads by sharing enough information which removes doubts, and proves that something can be done, or is the right product/service for the person consuming the lead magnet.

Alex Hormozi, a very popular and successful marketer, says:

“The business that provides the most value upfront, wins.”

He says lead magnets are “non-negotiable” for any coach or affiliate looking to make sales and sign clients organically.

Why?

Because a well crafted lead magnet, just like a sales letter, is like having a salesperson working for you 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

When they are online for the world to see, they can generate sales for you on autopilot.

You can either give your lead magnets away for free to allow people to consume them and potentially buy affiliate products through or and because of them, or you can give them away in exchange for an email address.

Yes, neither way costs the consumer money to access, but some people see handing an email address for a lead magnet a price they are not willing to pay.

They fear that as soon as they have handed their email address over they will be bombarded with sales emails.

When you put a lead magnet online for people to access without having to hand over their email address, it can result in more people seeing it, and if it is a quality lead magnet that helps people solve a problem or learn something new, it could result in them wanting more of your content which in turn could lead to them ‘happily’ signing up to your email list.

I don’t think the days of exchanging lead magnets for email address is over, I just think that it pays to give away additional content up front for free which shows people what they can expect from you if they do decide to give you their email details.

Think of it this way…

Imagine that you went to a supermarket and there was a small stand at the entrance with a person offering customers free tasters of a new biscuit that had been launched, how would you feel if:

  1. They had asked for your name and email address before you were given the chance to taste the new biscuits.

    Or…

  2. You were allowed to taste a couple of biscuits and was then asked for your name and email address in exchange for a free pack of biscuits.

Which of the above do you prefer?

I imagine that you would be reluctant to hand over your email details just to taste a few biscuits.

You don’t know if you are going to like the biscuit, and I can’t imagine that you would want to receive emails from a company promoting a biscuit that you disliked.

But if you enjoyed the biscuits that you had just tasted and wanted the free pack, you would probably be more than happy to hand over your email address because you already had an idea of what you were going to get.

The other thing to consider is that it is actually better to build an email list of people who actually like your content.

The biscuit company would prefer to have the email details of 1,000 people who actually liked the biscuit, than 3,000 email addresses of people that included those who didn’t like.

It makes more sense to have ‘fans’ of your content and products on your email list than both fans and haters.

Giving away information that promotes affiliate products or services that doesn’t require people to hand over an email address in exchange for it also means that people can share it for you.

Videos on YouTube can be shared by either being embedded on other people’s websites, or the links to those videos can be sent across the internet in emails or in messenger apps.

Building an email list is important, but you want the right people, and that can happen when you give people access to some of your content and information first.

In the video below, you will discover how you can create a simple lead magnet using the free-to-use Google Docs.

PS. Imagine having a dozen or more lead magnets floating around online, waiting for people to access them and click on the affiliate links embedded within.

And imagine that those affiliate products and services were paying monthly recurring commissions or commissions over £500 per sale.

Does that sound good to you?

People Are Getting Bored With Borders

There are pros and cons for both physical books and digital books, but one con for physical books that is a big pro for digital books is the issue with customs when sending books overseas.

Our techy guy, Andi, who is currently living in Portugal, is having a few issues with the Portuguese customs regarding a book that is sent to people as a part of an online mentoring program.

The book is classed as a gift and is non-commercial. He hasn’t bought the book nor is he planning on selling it.

It’s just a book probably worth less than £10.

The customs people want to see an invoice or other relevant paperwork for the book which Andi does not have as he didn’t actually buy the book.

He cannot even take a screenshot of the book for sale on the company’s website because it is not for sale on the company’s website.

The book was sent from Australia and apparently it is not the only book that has got stuck at customs. There are other countries that are refusing to let it through without additional paperwork.

What is weird is that Andi has already had something through from customs from the same company a couple of months previously without issue.

He paid the clearance fees and taxes and the item was delivered to his apartment with no issues.

For some strange reason they just won’t let this through without more paperwork.

To make matters worse, he cannot talk to anyone at customs to discuss it.

The emails are coming from the Portuguese post office (CTT) and the portal that he uses to check the progress is the CTT website, yet he cannot talk to anyone as he cannot get past the AI controlled questions.

He has managed to find the CTT WhatsApp number and chatted to a CTT representative, but they just keep telling him that customs says that they need additional paperwork.

He knows that, and so he asked if they could talk to someone in customs as they are the CTT and it is all being done through them, but, apparently not.

Andi is happy to pay the customs fees and taxes, if someone will just take a look at the book and let it through.

But as always, the bureaucracy of borders gets in the way.

The tax departments of each country must have their paperwork. God-forbid should the government miss out on a couple of shekels!

It’s not as if it was a container full of books that he was planning to sell on the black market and avoid paying tax… it was just one book.

Andi was happy to simply pay whatever it cost to get the book through customs.

He would have paid more than what would probably have been required, but instead, there is no paperwork and so the book is now on a plane heading back to Australia.

The Australian company are now trying something new and have sent another book out to him in Portugal. It’s become a lot of hassle, and it is just one book.

That is the hassle that comes with supplying physical books to a global audience.

It has taken several weeks and he still doesn’t have the book.

With digital books, you can download them straight to your smartphone, tablet, and laptop as soon as the payment has been processed.

You can read those books within seconds of making the purchase.

Or in Andi’s case, as soon as it was uploaded the member’s area online he would be able to access it and download it without any issues.

There are no customs and territorial borders to deal with.

Digital books are a great way to make money today because you can sell to a global audience from multiple platforms and your products can be bought 24 hours of the day, 365 days of the year… and it is mostly all automated.

Other than directing people to your digital books, the whole sales process and product delivery is done for you automatically.

You don’t need to do anything other than tell people about your products.

  • No packing.
  • No posting.
  • No printing off delivery or custom clearance slips.

Having a real physical book is nice, it is good to hold one while reading or to work with if it is a work journal, but they are also big weighty clunky things that take up space and need storing on a shelf.

Digital books take up little space on your smartphones and tablets meaning that you can have a whole library in your pocket.

Digital books can be read on multiple devices and they can be taken and accessed from anywhere.

People love digital books.

And what is even better is that anyone can create and sell digital books.

Even you!

PS. It can take 30 days or less to create a digital book that could make you up to £30,000.

I am not saying that you will make £30,000 fast, that could be over several years, but that can be from one digital book.

Now imagine how many digital books you could have online if they take less than 30 days to create?

That includes the sales page and delivery page!
